Why go high, when you can go Lowe? As in actor Rob Lowe. The guy we all remember from "Wayne's World" and "St. Elmo's Fire." It turns out he's a pretty classy dude.
According to the famed actor's Instagram account, he cooked dinner for several Los Angeles firefighters, thanking them for saving his home during that terrible fire currently blazing its way across Montecito, Ca.
Posting several photos on the social media site, Rob Lowe handsomely thanked the firefighters with a cheeseburger dinner and spaghetti. “Dinner for new friends at our house,” Lowe captioned the shot.
The famed actor also posted photos of the gentlemen in yellow actively saving his home:
Other stars may not be as lucky as Lowe. As of Monday, the Thomas Fire still threatens the homes of Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.
Comedienne Chelsea Handler has reportedly evacuated her house, and then proceeded to place the blame for her misfortune on President Trump.
Handler tweeted: “Just evacuated my house. It’s like Donald Trump is setting the world on fire. Literally and figuratively. Stay safe everyone. Dark times.”
Rob Lowe has also kept it rather classy on the political side of things. Though his political stance is murky, he has never outright dismissed conservatives or engaged in the kind of hateful rhetoric seen by the likes Chelsea Handler.
Keep politics classy. Don't go high, go Lowe.
