For those who protest that Arabs who are virulently anti-Israel are not anti-Semitic, here’s the newest vicious evidence that the distinction between being anti-Israel and anti-Semitic is a bunch of nonsense:
As is well-known, the Hamas charter approvingly quotes a hadith stating, "The Day of Judgment will not come until Muslims fight the Jews, when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say, 'O Muslim, O servant of God, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.' Only the Gharkad tree would not do that, because it is one of the trees of the Jews."
Dr. Ahmad Abu Halabiya, Member of the PA appointed "Fatwa Council" and former acting Rector of the Islamic University in Gaza, stated in October 2000:
Have no mercy on the Jews, no matter where they are, in any country. Fight them, wherever you are. Wherever you meet them, kill them. Wherever you are, kill those Jews and those Americans who are like them and those who stand by them they are all in one trench.
The Gatestone Institute reported:
In 2015, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' advisor on Islam and head of PA Shari'ah courts taught on PA TV that Jews throughout history have represented "falsehood ... evil ... the devils and their supporters ... the satans and their supporters." Accordingly, the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is a conflict of "Allah's project vs. Satan's project."
The official PA daily published an op-ed saying Jews "are thirsty for blood to please their god (against the gentiles), and crave pockets full of money." These Jewish "attributes" and traditions are presented as the unchangeable nature of Jews. These messages come from the top of the Palestinian Authority.
The spurious notion that those who are anti-Israel don’t hate Jews as a whole is a useful fiction for those who wish to isolate Israel from the rest of the world, but it is patently untrue. Israel is the beating heart of the Jewish people, and as such, hating Israel goes hand-in-hand with hating Jews and Judaism.
