NYT: Louis C.K. Pleasured Himself In Front Of A Variety Of Different Women Without Their Permission

So, Louis C.K. is allegedly a sick, sick fellow.

According to The New York Times, C.K. has a nasty habit of masturbating before unsuspecting women. In 2002, C.K. allegedly asked two female comediennes, Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov, to come to his hotel room, then proceeded to get naked and masturbate in front of them. That wasn’t his only self-love session: in 2003, Abby Schachner alleges she could hear C.K. masturbating on the phone as they spoke; in 2005, Rebecca Corey alleges that C.K. asked her if he could pleasure himself in her presence (she said no). A fifth woman said that she acceded to a similar request from C.K. Louis C.K.’s publicist refused comment to the Times.

The Times story resulted in the cancellation of the premiere of his new movie as well as Stephen Colbert’s late night show. His new movie, according to the Times, includes a scene in which one character mimics public masturbation, and in which characters “appear to dismiss rumors of sexual predation.”

Said one of the comediennes, “I think the line gets crossed when you take all your clothes off and start masturbating.”

These incidents weren’t secrets. Corey says that Courteney Cox and David Arquette knew about C.K.’s masturbation offer, but did nothing. “My concern was to create an environment where Rebecca felt safe, protected and heard,” Cox told the Times. And Goodman said, “We were paralyzed,” though they admitted that they were “screaming and laughing in shock.” Goodman says that C.K.’s manager also told them not to talk about the incident.

C.K. apparently apologized to Schachner in 2009 via Facebook message: “That was a bad time in my life and I’m sorry.” In 2015, C.K. apologized to Corey as well.
