On Thursday, while guest co-hosting ABC's The View, Olympic gold medalist-turned-reality star and transgender advocate Caitlyn Jenner said he's been in contact with members of the Trump Administration and has a meeting set with U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley.
"Has there been anyone from the administration that you have been able to get in to sit down with at all, if not the president himself?" asked The View's Jedediah Bila.
"Yes, but I can't talk about it," replied Jenner, before dishing some details.
"I've been to the Department of Education; I've been everywhere," he said.
"Just like this afternoon, I'm at the U.N.," Jenner added. "Nikki Haley, I have a meeting with her about LGBT issues worldwide."
"We have our problems here and our issues here, but if you look on an international basis, they'd chop my head off in some countries," he pointedly noted.
Jenner, who fashions himself a Republican, said he voted for Trump during the 2016 election but has been disappointed in some of his allegedly anti-trans actions, referring to the president rescinding former President Barack Obama's overreaching transgender bathroom edict for all public schools in which schools were threatened with lawsuits and revoked funding for noncompliance.
Last year, the reality star released a video of himself entering the women's restroom at Trump Tower after then-candidate Trump said it would be fine for Jenner to use any bathroom he likes.
