A rough 24 hours for CNN just became even rougher with Project Veritas' latest undercover video featuring CNN New Day Associate Producer Jimmy Carr standing by his comments of calling the American voters "stupid as sh*t" and bashing CNN New Day anchor Chris Cuomo.
The video begins with Carr telling a Project Veritas journalist how concerned he was that he may have been recorded without knowing it after watching the media coverage of the prior Project Veritas' first two videos on CNN.
"I talked to a couple of guys on a Friday afternoon and I said things we normally wouldn't say," Carr said. "I mean granted, anything I've said to you I would defend on the record. I don't think I've said anything wrong."
Later on Carr said he "literally went, holy sh*t I hope those two guys I met weren't trying to f*ck with me and record me."
The video then reviews Carr's statements caught on Project Veritas' third video on CNN, in which he called the American voters "stupid as sh*t," admitted that 90% of CNN views President Trump as "crazy" and that Kellyanne Conway "looks like she got hit with a shovel."
Carr also admitted that Chris Cuomo is not well-liked at CNN after the Project Veritas journalist told him that he's "a far better presenter than Chris Cuomo."
"There's a lot of us in that spend a lot of time in the newsroom criticizing just the same points," Carr said. "...Just can't stand the guy when he talks, we're like shut up."
