This Was Obama's Favorite Moment From 2015 (Act Surprised)

People magazine asked President Obama what his favorite moment of 2015 was. His answer: the moment of the gathering outside the rainbow-lit White House when same-sex marriage was legalized nationally.

“The gathering outside the White House following the Supreme Court ruling upholding the right of same sex couples to marry,” answered Obama. “Never thought I’d do that.”

When the Supreme Court ruling came down this summer, the president was quick to show his support; he tweeted out the famous #LoveWins hashtag and lit up our White House with rainbow colors.

In Obama’s defense, what else did he have to choose from? The exponential growth and threat of terrorism under his watch? The busted economy and its corresponding 93 million people out of the labor force? The unraveling of Obamacare?

Probably not.
