Donald Trump's call for a temporary ban on all non-citizen Muslims entering the country is so "racist" that even Palestinian terrorists are deeply offended.

In what The New York Times described as an "extraordinary escalation of rhetoric aimed at voters’ fears about members of the Islamic faith," Trump announced Monday that we should implement a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on"—something Trump's defended as a "common sense" measure to prevent further radical Islamic terror attacks.

The White House has blown a fuse over it, while most of the Republican presidential candidates have denounced it as well.

"Islam is a religion of peace, a religion which opposes bloodshed."

But Democrats and Republicans aren't the only ones "deeply offended" by Trump's proposal. In exclusive interviews, Breitbart Jerusalem learned that the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas—whose charter calls for jihad against Jews and the "obliteration" of Israel—is also outraged over Trump's "racist" idea.

“We do not estimate that the current U.S. administration, any administration, will implement these racist suggestions. This is a pathetic attempt to attribute terror exclusively to Muslims," Hamas leader and Gaza spokesman Ismail Radwan told Breitbart.

"Islam is a religion of peace, a religion which opposes bloodshed," said Radwan—as Breitbart notes, "gloss[ing] over" his organization's "long and sordid history of bloodshed in the name of Islam."

Parroting one of the favorite talking points of the Obama administration, Abu al-Ayna al-Ansari, "a senior Salafi jihadist in the Gaza Strip," said that rather then protecting Americans, Trump's proposal would only risk inciting "more terrorist attacks from our brothers, fighters of the Islamic State."

Having just suggested that Trump would be especially dangerous for the U.S., al-Ansari then accused all U.S. presidents of being "hostile towards Muslims," saying, "We Muslims have grown used to these types of statements, which prove that the U.S. under any president will continue to be hostile towards Muslims."

"They claim to stand for human rights, while in actuality they carry out the same policy as that of the infidel crusading West, which oppresses the Muslims," he added before threatening that a "new generation of Muslims has risen, a generation that is capable of handling people like [Trump] and countries like the U.S."
