Following the scandals with former Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and her interim follower Donna Brazile, a competition is brewing for the leadership of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) has thrown his hat into the ring for consideration. He has already secured the support of left-wing and neo-Marxist news and commentary outlets. Socialist documentarian Michael Moore has essentially endorsed Ellison, describing him as "the future" of a white-minority America given the congressman's race.

Legacy left-wing and Democrat-aligned news outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, and The Washington Post will likely not inquire meaningfully about Ellison's political views.
