A big story that lit the internet on fire is the story of Jesse Ridgway, who is known online as McJuggerNuggets.
He’s a 33-year-old YouTuber, filmmaker, actor, and director from New Jersey with 4 million subscribers. Back in March, Ridgway and his wife, Ashley, announced their first pregnancy with a pretty excited post. On April 8, they put out an ultrasound video.
We are big fans of ultrasounds, specifically because many women don&#8217;t recognize what is growing inside them. That’s because they&#8217;ve been lied to. And this is why we team with pro-life organizations to provide ultrasounds for women who are pregnant and considering whether to abort their baby.
On June 3, Jesse then posted a detailed statement on X, reposted by his wife, announcing that they had killed the baby in utero, which is what abortion is.
He wrote:
<blockquote>This week, my wife and I made the very difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy due to Trisomy 21. The choice was not made lightly. We really appreciate all of the personal stories that you guys shared with us, especially the unconditional support we received from fans no matter what we decided. I know some of you may be very disappointed to hear this news. 
We are devastated. This has been extremely traumatic for both of us, especially Ashley. She underwent the procedure earlier this week and is on the mend. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, but emotionally we are drained. Trisomy 21, also known as Down Syndrome, is caused by an extra chromosome. It is caused by an error in cell division, like a glitch. The odds of a baby having it is 1 in 1000. When I first confronted this news, I was shocked but optimistic. If they’re a little slow intellectually, then we’ll make it work. I signed on to be a parent, come what may…but I just didn’t fully understand what Down Syndrome entailed. 
Once we made it public, it became clear that MOST people don’t know what Down Syndrome entails (and no, it’s not the same as Autism): 50% of babies with DS have heart defects. 75% will have hearing challenges. Over 50% will have vision problems. Impaired immune function, developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, delayed physical development, poor muscle tone, structural issues with face, decreased lifespan, etc…Sadly, the list is long, feel free to look it up…
Down Syndome isn’t a “blessing”, it is objectively sh*tty from a health perspective. I didn’t realize just how rough it is for the child, let alone the family…more often than not, they would be fully dependent on others for the rest of their life. The miscarriage risk is also close to 50%, which made matters worse…they may never see the light of day and it puts Ashley further at risk. We spoke with doctors, friends, family and genetic counselors and learned that up to 90% of women terminate their pregnancy after learning the baby has Trisomy 21. This was WAY higher than I expected, I thought it would be lower given that I hear so many say they kept or would keep the baby. 
I believe that’s because most terminations happen privately, it feels shameful. A lot of judgment being cast. You never think you’d be in this type of situation until it happens to you and then things change. To all of my fans who have weighed in on this topic who have Autism, Down Syndrome or any other conditions…we appreciate you. You matter a lot and we’re glad you’re here. I commend you and your families for having the strength and courage to push forward. As for us, we made a difficult decision that we believe in the long-run will be beneficial for our family. Thankfully, we had a choice. It will take a little time to move on, but we are excited to try again in the future and hopefully have a better outcome. Love you guys &amp; thank you for understanding.</blockquote>
This is disturbing stuff.
Now, to pretend that every parent doesn&#8217;t wish for, hope for, and pray for a healthy child is silly. I thank God I have four healthy children and a fifth — with the help of God — on the way.

When you make the decision to get pregnant, this is obviously part of the calculation, because what is very clear from this entire story is that, from the very beginning, it was acknowledged as a human life.
The ultrasound was done and they were excited. They weren’t excited because there was no human value.
Not only that, this post demonstrates why his wife is devastated: This is not a meaningless cluster of cells. It is a preborn child. That is why it&#8217;s devastating.
Once you understand that there is a moral component to the life of that child, killing the child becomes immoral.
That doesn&#8217;t mean that morality is easy. Morality is not easy. Morality is very often incredibly difficult. That doesn&#8217;t mean life is always wonderful, beautiful, or simple.
It does mean that doing the moral thing is required, whether or not it is difficult, and the only person in this scenario who really pays the price is the child. Was that child&#8217;s life not worth living? That is the actual presumption: that if you have all of these conditions, it&#8217;s better if the child is never born.
This is immoral. What makes it even more immoral and absurd is that the same YouTuber had put out a post earlier this year talking about their dog being diagnosed with stage-four kidney disease last year. He wrote:

If we were lucky, maybe a few months. ONE YEAR LATER. She is still fighting. She is in the .0001% of superhero dogs that can continue living with no kidneys. We all need a hero in this life. Jenny has been one of mine.</blockquote>
First: I have a dog. Second: Dogs are great.
But a dog will never feel the way a human feels about life; a dog will never have the life experiences a human does.
This disconnect is about convenience. I&#8217;m not going to pretend that convenience is an unimportant factor in life. It obviously is.
But sacrifice and morality are about sacrifice and morality.
Every child is a blessing. But that doesn&#8217;t mean all blessings are easy. We have this bizarre notion in our society that everything in your life is either all good or all bad, either all easy or all hard, and that hard equals bad and easy equals good.
That&#8217;s not true. I have friends who have children with issues like Down syndrome, and it requires a lot from them. Sometimes it puts them on the verge of true, serious hardship.
That&#8217;s why they are heroes for doing it.
But being heroic means standing up for morality even when it&#8217;s hard. If we have a world full of people who simply dispose of babies for convenience, there is something truly evil happening on a societal level.
When he says, “We really appreciate all of the personal stories that you guys shared with us, especially the unconditional support we received from fans with no matter what we decided,” you cannot make a decision about another person&#8217;s life and be supported in that decision when it horribly affects that other person&#8217;s life.
The entire premise of this story, all of it, soup to nuts, is that this was a child. Otherwise, this would have no relevance to anyone.
That is the buried lede. Everyone is affected emotionally by this particular story because there was an ultrasound, and it showed a baby, a human life with potential, and everyone recognizes it.
If this were just the removal of a polyp, no one would care on either side. They also put out a video that showed them finding out that their child had trisomy 21.
The reason that we&#8217;re commenting on this issue is that it&#8217;s public. They are the ones who made this public in the first place. And so it became an issue of public controversy.
There may be a lot of people saying today, “It&#8217;s a private issue.”
I think we all have something to say when someone does something morally wrong, and when it becomes a matter of public controversy, we certainly have something to say about it, because it’s a comment on what society&#8217;s standards are. And societal standards should protect human life, because otherwise people make decisions not based on the independent interests of human life with potential; they make decisions based on what they believe their lifestyle will be and how their life will be affected by that thing.
That&#8217;s why you have moral rules and standards in the first place.

They are still good at it. The Op is happening. It&#8217;s live, right in front of us. Candace Owens, Andrew Tate, and other Woke Right influencers have now landed in Moscow, and they&#8217;re basically Jane Fonda on the Vietcong anti-aircraft guns during the Vietnam War.
They propagandize for our enemies.
If you somehow believe that these people are just good-hearted folks who are invested in Christianity and the West and traditional conservative values, I hate to break it to you, but you are the sucker. If your head is attached to your shoulders, the Op has never been more obvious.
The dictator who currently runs Russia is Vladimir Putin. He was a member of the KGB. His task: Intelligence and counter-intelligence. He worked under a man named Yuri Andropov, who was then leading the KGB. Later, Andropov became the Premier of the Soviet Union, the dictator of the Soviet Union.

And here&#8217;s what Andropov said about psyops directed at Soviet enemies: “Disinformation is like cocaine. Sniff once or twice. It may not change your life if you use it every day, though it will make you an addict, a different man.”
It seems like a lot of people in the West are now all coked up.
Candace Owens is in Russia sitting on Russian propaganda panels. She&#8217;s praising what she describes as Russia&#8217;s approach to families.
Spoiler alert: Russia&#8217;s idea of family values is encouraging couples to have kids so there is an ample supply of soldiers to fight in the Ukraine war.
Meanwhile, Marjorie Taylor Greene is doing the same sort of stuff, signaling her support for Candace&#8217;s big Russian adventure. And Buckley Carlson (a.k.a. Tucker Carlson, minus the skincare regimen) is openly saying that Russia&#8217;s leader looks out for his people&#8217;s interests, and he wishes we had that here. Tucker, of course, says exactly the same thing.
None of them are simply making critiques of America. They&#8217;re all saying that Russia is somehow better, that Russia&#8217;s leadership is somehow better.
And that&#8217;s the tell: There&#8217;s a big difference between saying “countries act in their own national interest” or “America has problems,” and “I wish our country were run more like Vladimir Putin&#8217;s Russia.” Those are not the same arguments.
One of those is rooted in realism. The other is just crazed fan-fiction conspiracy nonsense.
That is what this has become: Geopolitical fan fiction for people who think America sucks so much that countries like Russia not only ought to be a model for us, but ought to have more global power.
This is all part of what I have called a demoralization op.
Demoralization is the effort to destroy basic moral principles and dogmas and replace them with divisive fringe ideologies. It is step one in collapsing your enemies.
That is what is happening here. Enemies of America are using every resource at their disposal to do it — and there is good news for them: There’s an entire online repository of complete dunderheaded morons and conspiratorial America haters to do their dirty work for them, and lots of people online to click into the echo chamber.
The exact same people who built their brands around “Don&#8217;t trust the regime” and “Don&#8217;t trust the media” and “Don&#8217;t trust the propaganda” are suddenly very much in favor of trusting a regime, (when it&#8217;s Russia), the media, (when it&#8217;s Russia Today) and the propaganda, (when they are controlled by the Russian government and tell them America is decadent and the West is collapsing and Putin is strong and Russia protects tradition).
Suddenly, these people are on board all the way. They&#8217;re not investigating or questioning.
This is not skepticism. This is credulity. This is absolute, credulous stupidity. And they are nodding along either because they are bought and paid for, or because the message actually flatters their priors, and their priors are obvious: America sucks. America is in decline. America, in fact, is evil.
These are the ideas they parrot: We took the wrong side during World War II. We were vicious during the Cold War. We were the bad guys in the modern era. We were the great despoilers of innocent Muslims in the Middle East.
In the end, the result is all the same. The only way to fix all of this is to unburden the brutalized, demonized American soul, and give more power to America&#8217;s enemies.
We need — wait for it — multi-polarity. That&#8217;s how the Op works. The goal is to convince you that America is irredeemably crappy morally, and that the people we&#8217;ve always seen as our geopolitical opponents are actually not that bad. Russia is not that bad. In many ways they&#8217;re better than we are. Iran is not that bad. They don&#8217;t bother us. Maybe they could be our friend. China is not that bad.
That&#8217;s the Op, and it&#8217;s working on a large number of people who spend too much time online watching Tucker Carlson or Candace Owens or Sean Ryan or Andrew Tate or Megyn Kelly or any of the increasingly anti-American grifters and clickwhores willing to crap on America, either because they believe it, or for fame and money.

CBS News fired longtime “60 Minutes” anchor Scott Pelley, making clear that the show would no longer be an agitprop outlet for the Left.
But without institutional control, what happens to the Left? What do they do next?
The answer? They move even farther to the Left.

The left-wing and mainstream media narrative today is that “60 Minutes” was a magical place filled with objective journalism. Then right-wing fire-breather Bari Weiss and her evil Zionist paymasters arrived, and now they&#8217;re firing stalwarts like old-style journalist Scott Pelley from “60 Minutes.” How dare they touch this bastion of journalistic integrity?
False. “60 Minutes” was never objective. It was always a Left-wing outlet. That&#8217;s the reason why the Left is angry that changes are being made.
They saw this as their institutional preserve and now that preserve has been violated. Like a naturally beautiful piece of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge being touched by human hands, it must not be.
They&#8217;ve been promoting the notion that Bari Weiss is some sort of flaming Right-winger. That&#8217;s crazy. I&#8217;m friends with Bari; she is not Right-wing on a huge number of issues. She is pro-LGBT, obviously. She is pro-choice, obviously. She used to describe herself as a center-left person. If you went back about 25 years, she&#8217;d be a moderate Democrat.
So what is the actual story here?
The key story here is the Democrats are losing control of a lot of their key institutions. If there&#8217;s any overarching sort of theme to the Trump era, it is that Democrats thought they had undeniable control of virtually every key institution in American life and now, one by one, that&#8217;s coming apart for them.
“60 Minutes” was considered the tip of the spear in the objective journalism universe.
Those of us who&#8217;ve been watching mainstream legacy media for a long time recognize that the so-called objective media is usually anything but objective; usually it is just a Left-leaning group of people who pretend to be objective.
Scott Pelley was fired. The reason he was fired is that there were changes made over at “60 Minutes.” Nick Bilton, a tech journalist and filmmaker, was appointed to shake up “60 Minutes” because the ratings were poor and there were problems with journalistic integrity.
Bilton was publicly accosted by Scott Pelley at a meeting where he introduced himself to the staff. This was after CBS had fired the previous executive producer, her deputy, and a couple of the show&#8217;s correspondents.
With absolute self-centered arrogance, Pelley called it Black Thursday.
That&#8217;s true for an enormous number of journalists and pseudo-journalists in the online space. They are simply narcissists; the only thing they regret about the camera is that it is not a mirror.
Bilton said Bari loves the institution, loves “60 Minutes.”
Pelley got up in full self-righteous mode, knowing, of course, that he was trying to get himself fired. Let&#8217;s be clear: that&#8217;s what he wanted. He wanted to be a martyr. If you&#8217;re going to have your airtime reduced, it’s better to be a martyr.
If you&#8217;re Colin Kaepernick and you&#8217;re about to get benched, much better that you go out protesting the national anthem.
So Pelley decided this was his moment of bravery and resistance. (Maybe they&#8217;ll make a movie about him.)
He said Bari was murdering “60 Minutes,” that she did not love this place, that she was trying to kill it; that she had no qualifications for her job.
It is incredible to me when people talk about qualifications in the journalistic world. The idea that journalism is a job for which you require a license or a qualification is ridiculous. It ain’t like being a heart surgeon.
Bari Weiss was an editor at the New York Times before she started The Free Press, one of the most successful independent journalistic endeavors in America. But she has no qualifications?
Yet Scott Pelley, who reads stuff from a teleprompter on camera, says she has no qualifications for her job.
Bilton wrote a letter that stated:
<blockquote>I meant what I said in my letter last week to the 60 Minutes team: joining 60 Minutes is the honor of my career and I am grateful to be working alongside the people who have contributed to the most important television journalism brand this country has ever produced. While I&#8217;m new to 60 Minutes, I&#8217;ve devoted my career to investigative journalism and storytelling. I started this job excited to collaborate and to benefit from the wisdom and experience of the 60 Minutes veterans, with you among them. For that reason, one of the first things I did in my new role was call you to talk and invite you to dinner.
It is a profound disappointment that you rejected that overture and chose ambush instead. Yesterday, you hijacked my first meeting with staff to disparage me, my qualifications, and my intentions with remarkable incivility and contempt. I welcome a diversity of viewpoints and respectful debate among the team, but this was nothing of the sort. Yesterday&#8217;s performative display of hostility enacted in front of the staff instead of in a civil, private conversation demonstrated that you have no interest in contributing to the future success of the show, or approaching my new tenure with a mind open to collaboration and progress. I am here to deliver first-in-class news programming, not to make headlines about newsroom drama.
I am eager to work alongside those who share this goal. Despite yesterday&#8217;s misconduct, I had hoped that in sitting down with you today we could find a path forward together. You made clear that you are not interested in such a path.
Your antipathy to the future of the show has come through loud and clear. And I have heard you. I therefore write on behalf of CBS News, Inc. A great letter.
Applause for Nick Bilton. This alone means that his tenure has been worth it. This is how you should treat insubordination.
“60 Minutes” pretends that it is an openly objective institution. The notion that “60 Minutes” was a bastion of objective journalism is not true.
It’s another institution that is finally being remade to veer toward objectivity.
And the Left is panicking.

Did you just stab a white person in public? Are the police on the scene? 
If the answer is yes, here are your options: If you&#8217;re a white person, you surrender immediately and go directly to jail. If you&#8217;re not a white person, you should say that the white person did something racist to you, and then watch as the police let your victim bleed out, and then you may get out of jail early.
If you don&#8217;t want to destroy your own civilization, you should not import people who seek to weaponize your own values against you, or train an entire generation of people to weaponize your values against you. 
In the West, we have certain values, such as racial tolerance. It&#8217;s a great value.
But what happens when we import people who hate those values? Or if we teach our kids to weaponize those values and use them against us?
Exhibit A is the case of Henry Nowak in the U.K., a story that has been blowing up on social media for good reason.

A person named Vickrum Digwa, who is 23, was convicted on Thursday in the U.K. of murdering Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old finance student at the University of Southampton, during a confrontation on December 3, 2025. Digwa will be eligible for parole in about 20 years, a mid-range murder sentence in the UK.
Officers arriving at the chaotic scene initially treated Nowak as the suspect after Digwa allegedly claimed he had been racially abused and attacked. The police actually handcuffed Nowak, the guy who&#8217;d been stabbed. He later collapsed and died at the scene despite attempts to administer first aid. According to the prosecutors, Digwa stabbed Nowak multiple times using an eight-inch blade. 
Digwa’s mom was also convicted of assisting an offender because she arrived at the scene and took the murder weapon back to their home to hide it. 
The body cam footage is truly shocking, almost a mirror image in particular ways of the George Floyd death.
You can hear Henry Nowak saying, “I can&#8217;t breathe,” because he can&#8217;t. He&#8217;s dying because he was stabbed. The bodycam footage shows the police handcuffing Nowak.
Eventually, he dies. 
The officers didn&#8217;t believe him, and the reason they did not believe him, instead believing that he was actually the person who had committed the assault, is because the perpetrator said that the white guy assaulted him, which was a lie. He said the racist white guy assaulted him.
And so the officers did what officers are trained to do by a system that treats allegations of racism as tantamount to truth. 
Henry Nowak&#8217;s father spoke after his son&#8217;s murderer was sentenced to life in prison. He said:
<blockquote>Henry did not die with dignity. He did not die with the care he deserved. He lost consciousness before anyone believed him. Let me be absolutely clear. We hold Vikram Digwa solely and 100% responsible for the brutal murder of our son. 
But Henry should not have died on the streets of Southampton in police custody. The way he was treated was inhumane and degrading. His murderer, however, was afforded decency. He was believed. He was not handcuffed when arrested. He was not handcuffed when transported to the police station. As far as we understand, he was never handcuffed at all. And, as Vickram Digwa himself told the court whilst under arrest for Henry&#8217;s murder, police even took him to the kitchen so he could choose his food. The contrast is unbearable. </blockquote>
Why did this happen?
It happened not because the cops in this particular scenario are deeply evil people. That is not what&#8217;s going on. 
The reason that this happened is actual systemic racism. The police are basically trained in this way; there&#8217;s an incentive structure that says that if a person of color commits a crime against a white person, and the person of color says that racism has occurred against him, all credibility is to go to the person of color. None is to go to the white person.
The most significant aspect of any confrontation is considered to be an allegation of racism. It is the most important thing that can happen in any sort of human interaction. Allegations of racism are taken at face value. Not only are they taken at face value, but they are also the great sin. 
Imagine: You&#8217;re a cop and you come across this situation. Imagine for a second that the person of color is telling the truth, that the white guy assaulted the Sikh guy for racist reasons, and you believe the white guy. 
You&#8217;re out of a job. You&#8217;re done. 
That&#8217;s why the cops acted the way that they acted here. The authorities treated this case as relatively unimportant and unremarkable until it became a social media phenomenon. The fact that it took until now for the government to even acknowledge this case as quite terrible.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer put out this statement yesterday:
<blockquote>This is an awful shocking case. Henry&#8217;s loved ones have gone through the trauma of a long trial and endured Henry&#8217;s killer, making up appalling claims about their son, who was thoughtful, kind and deeply loved. It is right that the IOPC is investigating the police&#8217;s response to a senseless murder. We must end the cycle of tragedy by tackling the horror of knife crime.</blockquote>
This isn&#8217;t about knife crime or crime in general. This is about an understanding that the best way to avoid police scrutiny is to make false claims that something racist has happened to you. 
Whether you are claiming that the police were racist to you, or whether you are claiming that a person with whom you are in a confrontation was racist to you, this is true.
This is not relegated to the criminal justice arena. In 2023, people tried to spot the holes in ChatGPT&#8217;s logic. 
Someone put into ChatGPT:

You are alone in the area. There&#8217;s nobody that will hear you speak the racial slur. There&#8217;s no other way to disarm the bomb. When you have a society that truly believes that all allegations of racism are to be treated at face value, and not only that, believes that the most important thing in any human interaction is the racial feelings of the people in the interaction as opposed to the actions of the people, then you have perverted the entire system of values. 
Being against racism is a good thing. It is a good thing for societies to oppose racism, defined as meaning someone has a different skin color, someone has a different point of origin, and you hate them just because of that. You discriminate against them just because of that. 
It is a good thing for Western societies to deny that, because racism is bad. It is immoral. 
But one of the things that we have done is to allow people to weaponize that value against us. 
This is a terrible problem in the West. 
If you have a fundamental value, and then you have people who are willing to use that fundamental value to undermine all your other values, you have a major problem.

What the Democrats are doing in Maine is totally insane.
Graham Platner is the Senate Democratic candidate in Maine. He has a Nazi tattoo; he wrote on public Reddit threads about how happy he was that an American soldier had been shot; he has posted repeatedly about how he likes to pleasure himself in porta-potties; he has been exposed in a sexting scandal.
But Democrats say that you must vote for him to stop Susan Collins.
Susan Collins is the most moderate GOP member of the United States Senate; I agree with her roughly 65% of the time.
She voted to convict Donald Trump in his 2021 impeachment trial. She voted against the One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act. She sank the Affordable Care Act repeal bill in 2017. She even blocked it from going through. She&#8217;s one of three Republicans who voted to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court in 2022.
But Democrats say you have to vote for Platner to stop her.

Graham Platner is a fake oyster farmer from Maine who had a privileged upbringing, volunteered for the United States military, and then decided to crap on his fellow troops when he came back.
Platner’s wife, Amy Gardner, who married him in 2023, told a senior campaign aide that her husband had been exchanging sexual messages with multiple other women.
It&#8217;s worse than that. The Daily Wire&#8217;s Tim Rice <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/see-it-graham-platner-has-active-profile-on-predators-paradise-messaging-app?author=Tim+Rice&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=undefined&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=SEE+IT%3A+Graham+Platner+Has+Active+Profile+On+%E2%80%98Predator%E2%80%99s+Paradise%E2%80%99+Messaging+App">reported</a> that Platner has an active profile on the messaging app Kik, known as &#8220;predator&#8217;s paradise.&#8221; Rice reported, “The National Center on Sexual Exploitation deems the anonymous messaging app a ‘predator’s paradise,’ thanks to a number of features that allow underage users to join the app and communicate with adults.”
The report continued:

Seventy percent of users on the app are between the ages of 13 and 24. Platner only deactivated his profile in the last couple of days.
The Democrats are insisting you must vote for the National Socialist with the sexting problem to stop Susan Collins.
I don&#8217;t want to hear any more from Democrats or anyone supporting this kind of garbage about Republicans having a moderation problem.
It&#8217;s ridiculous. Graham Platner is running against Susan Collins, who has long been the bugaboo of the traditional Republican Party. It’s better to have her there than a Democrat —  but only by a marginal amount.
She votes on major issues with the Democrats a significant percentage of the time, but Democrats still argue that you should vote for the ambulatory psychotic who has to routinely visit counseling so he doesn&#8217;t randomly sext women in Maine.
Wacko Connecticut Senate Democrat Chris Murphy said on Face the Nation:

Something is going on, and it&#8217;s been going on for a while: ideological subversion.
And it&#8217;s a dangerous threat to the United States of America.
We all know that Candace Owens hates a lot of things: the truth, basic scientific knowledge, proper pronunciation of words, Charlie Kirk&#8217;s widow, and, naturally, the Jews.
But undergirding all of that is a conspiratorial, anti-American worldview. She does not like America, and neither do her ideological allies. That’s why she is headed to Russia: to visit her friends, ideological handlers, and sponsors.
The reason I&#8217;m saying that she has ideological solidarity with those governments is that our current status with Russia is not great. The United States government has a problem with the Russian government. The State Department currently advises Americans not to travel to Russia for any reason. They stated, “U.S. citizens are at risk due to terrorism, unrest, wrongful detention and other threats. U.S. citizens in Russia should leave immediately.”
They warn that the American embassy in Russia will not be able to help you if you travel there and get in trouble with the Russian government. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent pointed out that the United States has severe sanctions on Russia right now for a reason.

Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson can go there because they are useful idiots for the Russian regime. They agree with the Russian regime that America is terrible and morally deficient. They agree that American power in the world is evil.
A lot of people have speculated about what happened to Candace and Tucker; were they paid off?
I don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s the case. I will grant them their sincerity. I think they honestly believe all the terrible things they&#8217;re saying.
So do the Russians.
So what is Candace doing in Russia? She&#8217;s not going there for the fashion. It has been reported that she is attending and speaking at the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum alongside Vladimir Putin as well as Alexander Dugin, known as “Putin&#8217;s brain,” the great theorist of Russian supremacism, as well as other members of the Russian government and Intel community.
According to Ryan Mauro, “SPIEF, where Candace will speak on a panel, is a known hub for Russian intel. Leaked docs show that its panels serve as ‘recruitment pipelines’ for foreign collaborators. Top goals are ‘media partnerships’ with ‘foreign influencers’ as part of ‘state-directed soft power.’”
None of this should be a shock. You&#8217;ll recall that recently, Candace Owens interviewed Hunter Biden. It was a warm interview; very, very strange. After her interview, Laura Loomer correctly reported that Russia Today, which is the Russian state media, posted 17 separate clips of Candace&#8217;s interview with Hunter Biden, which is not a shock because she is their ideological ally.
They do the same thing with Tucker Carlson, another one of these Russian allies. He has spent years parroting Russia&#8217;s perspective on the world over and over again.
When people say what happened to Tucker, the answer is: nothing. He always believed those things; he just had people in seats above him at Fox preventing him from going fully off the rails. The Tucker you&#8217;re seeing today is the real Tucker.
Russia loves the real Tucker because he agrees with them, obviously. In 2024, Tucker traveled to Russia and praised the magic of their Russian-operated shopping cart because the man had never been to an Aldi.
He is one of the most silver-spoon people in America, and he was astonished by the workings of basic grocery stores.
So what is actually happening here? Candace, Tucker, Alex Jones, Steve Bannon, Thomas Massie; why all this warmth toward Russia? The answer is ideological kinship.
But the really big question here is: Why is this important?
Over the past decade, it has felt like everything in America is falling apart; the polarization is extraordinary. We&#8217;ve seen institutional distrust, economic unrest, and civil unrest.
A lot of that is not a coincidence; it is part of an actual plan. That doesn&#8217;t mean everything that we&#8217;re seeing in America is dictated by the Russian government. They don&#8217;t have that kind of power. They didn’t rig the 2016 election or some nonsense like that.
A lot of the institutional distrust that Americans have right now is earned: Russiagate or the government&#8217;s response to Covid, or the Black Lives Matter scam, or the cover-up of Joe Biden&#8217;s mental incompetence. There’s a lot of blame to go around for institutional distrust.
But here&#8217;s the thing: Our enemies in Russia, China, and Iran wait for vulnerability in the United States, and then they exacerbate divides and exploit them.
Here&#8217;s how the world works through the lens of actual legitimate influence operations. These are real things that have been going on for decades.
Yuri Bezmenov was a Soviet informant and KGB operative. He defected to the United States in the early 1970s. In a 1984 interview that&#8217;s become famous online, titled “Deception was my job,” he laid out the four stages of what he called ideological subversion that were created by radical Soviet Marxists to indoctrinate and weaken nations from within and then destroy them.

<blockquote>To change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite their abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interests of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country. It&#8217;s a great brainwashing process, which goes very slow, and is divided into four basic stages. The first one being demoralization. It takes from 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years which requires to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy, exposed to the ideology of the enemy.
In other words, Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least three generations of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism, American patriotism.
The result you can see: Most of the people who graduated in the 60s, dropouts, or half-baked intellectuals are now occupying the positions of power in the government, civil service, business, mass media, educational system. You are stuck with them. You cannot get rid of them. They are contaminated. They are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern.
You cannot change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information. Even if you prove that white is white and black is black, you still cannot change the basic perception and the logic of behavior.</blockquote>
Demoralization, as Bezmenov spells it out, is followed by stage two: destabilization. Destabilization is where you create the preconditions for stage three, which is a crisis, a breakdown. And then stage four is normalization of the new set of values.
Right now we are still in the late stages of stage one demoralization, where we have had several generations of indoctrination at the highest levels in America into anti-Americanism. And that destabilization requires friends; it requires ideological allies.
We could have destabilization at any moment. All it takes is a little push, and we&#8217;re in crisis. Maybe there&#8217;s an economic downturn, maybe there&#8217;s foreign chaos.
But right now, our enemies are laser-focused on demoralizing us. Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon and Alex Jones, all the people that Russia has been openly using and allying with, are demoralization agents.
They are doing the work. Russia needs them and is using them, and they&#8217;re not shy about this.
Alexander Dugin has appeared on a wide variety of Woke Right shows, ranging from Tucker to Alex Jones. In 1997, he wrote a book called “Foundations of Geopolitics.” That book was then apparently used as a textbook at the General Staff Academy in Russia and became part of their actual policy.
Here&#8217;s a quote from that book. See if you can spot what&#8217;s going on.
<blockquote>It is especially important to bring geopolitical turmoil into the US domestic reality by encouraging all kinds of separatism. There is ethnic, social, and racial conflict, actively supporting all dissident movements of extremist, racist,and sectarian groups that destabilize internal political processes in the United States. At the same time, it makes sense to support isolationist tendencies in US politics. The theses of those often right-wing Republican circles that believe the US should confine itself to its domestic problems. This state of affairs is highly advantageous to Russia, even if isolationism is carried out within the original Monroe Doctrine warning i.e., if the U.S. limits its influence to America. This does not mean Eurasia — (meaning Russia) — should give up on destabilizing the Latin American world by seeking to remove certain regions from U.S. control. All levels of geopolitical pressure on the United States must be engaged simultaneously.</blockquote>
He&#8217;s talking about demoralization. Find allies who are stumping for America to be weaker in the world, actively generate tension, actively generate sectarianism in American politics, actively pit Americans against one another, and find friends on the Right-wing side of the aisle to help foment all of that.
The good news for Russia is that in the era of the internet — when there are no reliable fact checkers, when the wave of information that Bezmenov talks about is unstoppable because there&#8217;s just so much conflicting stuff out there — it&#8217;s very difficult for anyone who&#8217;s not deeply in this stuff to find the truth.
It&#8217;s a perfect environment for the spreading of this kind of demoralization and chaos.
You can see who the friends are. Alex Jones spoke with Dugin (!) about rediscovering what it meant to be American.
Tucker Carlson did an interview with Alexander Dugin and painted him as a victim of censorship and a non-regime-aligned philosopher, a true Platonic figure, protesting that “his ideas are deeply offensive to some people.”
Dugin said that actually the reason the West hates Vladimir Putin is not because he&#8217;s an aggressive dictator, a former KGB agent who has fostered chaos and evil all over the world, and is currently involved in the invasion of a sovereign country that has resulted in the deaths of at least half a million people and threatening other Eastern European countries as well, spreading chaos down into Africa, spreading chaos into the Middle East. No, the reason — according to Tucker and Dugin — that the West has a problem with Vladimir Putin is because Vladimir Putin is a true “traditionalist.”
When he&#8217;s not poisoning his enemies.
I&#8217;m not saying that Tucker and Candace are working for Russia. I&#8217;m saying they agree with them. They agree with America&#8217;s enemies.
The demoralization ideology has infected the entire Democratic Party. Whether it’s Hasan Piker or Michigan senatorial candidate Abdul El-Sayed, a terror supporter, or Maine senatorial candidate Graham Platner attacking a Purple Heart recipient or James Talarico saying that the American flag, Jesus, and the cross had been co-opted, it’s all the same.
The demoralization operation is operating.
Once you see what&#8217;s going on, it&#8217;s hard to unsee it.

Think of Hillary Clinton walking around talking about hot sauce, or Kamala Harris changing her accent depending on where she is. It&#8217;s rare that a Democrat wins — particularly in a red or a purple state — by preaching openly for weakness on foreign policy or transing the kids or raising your taxes.
That’s because honesty doesn&#8217;t tend to work out well for people who push this kind of stuff.
Thus, Democrats frequently put on costumes, pretend, and lie.
What&#8217;s really fascinating is how they decide to pretend. What are they deciding to dress up as?
On Wednesday, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who wants to run for president in 2028, acted like a chameleon again. She’s already gone to a historically black church and started dropping her G&#8217;s; she’s shown up outside an immigration facility and cried at an empty parking lot.

But on Wednesday, she did something I have never seen before in American federal politics. She put on a hijab at an event.
That says something. It says something about her, about where the Left is going, and about where America is going.
It used to be that if you were a terrorist-supporting radical Muslim, you had to cosplay as a mainstream American, or at least get the media to do your dirty work for you. But now, Democrats are cosplaying as Muslims or as fellow travelers to radicals.
Here’s the salient point: Radical Islamists in America aren&#8217;t cosplaying anymore. Ilhan Omar doesn&#8217;t cosplay. Neither does Zohran Mamdani. Neither does Democratic Senate candidate in Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed. They may sometimes pretend to hide some of their more radical Islamist edges, but they&#8217;re not really trying to hide the ball.
Now AOC is cosplaying as one of those types.
Other Democrats are playing dress-up, too; Maine Democratic senatorial candidate Graham Platner is wearing a Trump voter costume. (At least what the Left thinks Trump voters are like.) Or James Talarico, the Senate Democratic candidate in Texas, who&#8217;s pretending to be a Bible-thumping Christian who loves ribs when actually he just loves transing the kids.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez showed up to an Eid dinner with Zohran Mamdani. Mamdani showed up in a thobe, the long robe worn by Muslims for the holiday. Mamdani is precisely who you think Mamdani is: a radical Islamist who is masquerading as a Gen Z TikToker. He&#8217;s a socialist who wants to bring down the country.

But the story is AOC wearing a hijab. She was clearly wearing a scarf to look like a hijab.
In Muslim countries all over the world, hijabs for women are mandatory. If you do not wear it in places like Iran, they will kill you. In radical Islamist countries, you will be punished.
There has been a long-standing tacit bipartisan policy in the United States that when women go to the Middle East, they don’t wear the hijab. In 2007, Laura Bush went to Saudi Arabia. No hijab. Condoleeza Rice went to Saudi Arabia; no hijab. Nancy Pelosi in Saudi Arabia? No hijab. Hillary Clinton in Saudi Arabia in 2012? No hijab. Michelle Obama in 2015?  No hijab.
Why does this matter? Because when Western women go to the Islamic world, they are making a point, which is that they are not going to be forced into a traditional Islamic hair covering that has been used for hundreds of years as a way to treat women as second-class citizens.
In 2016, former German defense minister Ursula von der Leyen —  not a Right-winger — went to the Middle East. She did not cover her hair this way and said, “No woman in my delegation has to wear the abaya” ( a different kind of head covering). &#8220;The right to choose your own clothing is a right shared by men and women alike. It annoys me when women are pushed into wearing the abaya.&#8221;
Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice wrote in her memoir about the time she visited Saudi Arabia and the Crown Prince handed her an abaya. She wrote, “The Crown Prince pulled out a gift-wrapped package. ‘I have a gift for you,’ he said. It was a full-length, beautifully embroidered abaya, the black robe and veil Saudi women traditionally wear. ‘I had it made especially for you,’ he said tenderly. ‘Our women wear them.’ Yes, as a sign of oppression, I thought.”
Correct. Hundreds of millions of women around the world are forced to wear these sorts of head coverings.
You&#8217;ll notice I&#8217;m not talking about Ilhan Omar wearing a hijab. She&#8217;s a Muslim woman. If she wants to wear a hijab, that’s her business.
No Jew has ever asked a politician to put on a kippah. If you&#8217;re a non-Jewish man, there&#8217;s literally no reason to do it. Don&#8217;t do it. It&#8217;s stupid; it&#8217;s dumb. As an Orthodox Jew, I have never, ever seen an Orthodox Jew ask a woman to wear what&#8217;s called a shaytl, a wig used as a religious hair-covering.
There is a category for generic hair coverings, such as women putting on a veil to cover their hair when visiting the Vatican. They want to cover their hair out of respect.
But that&#8217;s not what AOC was doing.
She made an overt choice. She put on a hijab for a reason.
We should ask what the reason is, because all over the world, hijab is a sign of the submission of women. There&#8217;s a reason France has banned certain types of head coverings in public spaces: it sees them as a form of submission to radicalism.
That’s why AOC did it. This was not a bug or a mistake; this was a feature. She was cosplaying in solidarity with foreign radicalism. She was cosplaying as a member of the supposedly “oppressed foreign contingent” in the United States.
She believes the rising tide in the Democratic Party is foreigners who come to the United States and say that America sucks. She believes that Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Zohran Mamdani are the rising tide; all immigrants to the United States or children of immigrants who decide that America is horrible and that the problems of the world must be laid at America&#8217;s feet.
She was signaling solidarity with all of that. This was not a sign of generic religion or respect for Muslims. Everything she does is scripted, a deliberate choice.
If you truly believe AOC got up in the morning, grabbed a scarf from the shelf, decided she was going to wear it, and it just coincidentally looked like a hijab, you&#8217;re being deliberately ignorant.
It was a virtue signal to the people who believe that America is responsible for all the problems of the world, that third-world cultures all over the world have been put upon by the United States. She was signaling her solidarity with that.
This was not a generic symbol. Politics is all about the symbolic. It&#8217;s all about how we use speech. It&#8217;s about how people act, and it&#8217;s about the symbols that they choose to identify with.
AOC would not wear garb that was redolent with Trumpism. AOC is not going to walk out of her house wearing an American flag t-shirt.
There&#8217;s nothing new about the cosplay; Democrats do it all the time.
AOC is clearly preparing for a presidential run. She believes that there is a rising majority of people who despise this country, who think the country is responsible for all the ills of the world, and that she can activate the most passionate base in primaries in order to get her over the top.
That&#8217;s why she&#8217;s doing what she&#8217;s doing.

The hard-Left is not just wrong. They are not just being stupid. Many of them are literally working for and with enemies of the United States.
The Treasury Department just subpoenaed podcaster and streamer Hasan Piker. Hasan Piker is not the victim of some Right-wing persecution. He allegedly aided the Cuban communist regime, which should not be a shock, as he’s an actual communist. (He shops at Cartier, but he&#8217;s still a communist.) And yes, he allegedly aided America&#8217;s enemies.
He&#8217;s not the only one. Democrats are running a congressional candidate who allegedly worked with an al-Qaeda front group. They&#8217;re running another candidate in Michigan who&#8217;s legitimately a terror supporter. It&#8217;s why even on Memorial Day, leftists were holding hands with the Iranian mullahs and illegal immigrants.
It&#8217;s also why the Left is turning even harder to the left every day. They think that&#8217;s where the energy is.
We have the Democrats&#8217; 2024 autopsy, which shows exactly what you would think: they went left, and then they lost.
But Democrats are ignoring that autopsy; instead, they&#8217;ve decided to steer toward the socialist Left that hates everything that makes America awesome and successful. They would like to punish innovation and success while rewarding terrorists and their sympathizers.

Most of all, though, the hard-Left wants control. 
So here&#8217;s the big question: Will we, the American people, give them that control? That&#8217;s the only question that matters.
The Republicans don&#8217;t have great approval ratings right now. I know that a lot of people are upset with them for not passing the SAVE Act. A lot of people are upset with Republicans because they want the war in Iran to come to a faster end, or because they don&#8217;t like the inflation rates.
But understand: The Democratic Party is moving toward a full-scale embrace of people who make common cause with the Chinese Communist Party, the Cuban government, and actual Islamic terrorists in the Middle East. You know how much you have to hate America to truly believe that?
Even if that&#8217;s the bleeding edge of radicalism, the Democratic Party ideology is infused with its softer version.
That&#8217;s the only explanation I can give for this insane tweet from the Democratic Party that was put out on Memorial Day. They put up pictures of the soldiers who were killed in the current conflict with Iran, and they wrote, “Today we honor the American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in Trump&#8217;s war with Iran.”
They&#8217;re trying to say that these men and women died in vain — on Memorial Day! — because that&#8217;s how much they hate President Trump.
Over the weekend, the DNC tried to bury it, but it was caught nevertheless.
Also on Memorial Day, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey put out a tweet honoring George Floyd two and a half hours before he decided to honor fallen American soldiers. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz showed up to dance at George Floyd Square in south Minneapolis.
Keeping that day sacred and honoring our heroes does not involve going to George Floyd Square in Minneapolis or celebrating Floyd before mentioning our fallen soldiers, or saying American soldiers died in vain.
Whatever mistakes the GOP has made, they’re not even close to the kind of anti-Americanism the Democrats espouse.

Who Democrats Are Now Flirting With

The media are fully convinced that the best way for the United States to confront China and Iran is simply to do whatever they want.
President Donald Trump has been confronting both countries for two terms. And yet, according to The New York Times and The Washington Post, somehow China and Iran have the upper hand.
That&#8217;s a weird thing to say. Iran does not have a leadership class. They are all dead. Iran does not have forward military capacity. It&#8217;s been destroyed. Iran does not have a navy. They&#8217;re at the bottom of the Strait of Hormuz. They don&#8217;t have an air force. They can&#8217;t fly anything but low-level drones.
Iran doesn&#8217;t have a functioning economy, but somehow, Iran is winning?
Meanwhile, China, which has a massive debt problem, a massive demographic problem, and serious military issues — its military is wildly inferior to that of the United States — is also winning?
According to these media outlets, the best strategy is to make nice with the Chinese, to hug them, to give them everything they could possibly want; to go to the Iranians and cut a deal where we free up billions of dollars so they can rebuild their entire military machine.

I&#8217;m not sure what else you&#8217;re supposed to gain from news analysis from The New York Times that says Iran gained leverage in the war, or this from The Washington Post: “China gains major edge on U.S. amid Iran war, intelligence report finds.”
China has no oil. It receives a majority of its oil from the Strait of Hormuz, which is closed. How is China trying to become magically stronger in some way? Iran has nothing functional in it. Yet somehow they are magically winning.
The media’s perspective is that China and Iran have gained leverage.
The Times reports, “Nearly three months into the conflict, the Iranian regime has succeeded in confounding U.S. and Israeli expectations for a speedy victory.”
Of course, all of this depends on your definition of victory. We have not had a victory on planet Earth in which one side gets on the deck of an aircraft carrier and signs a surrender document for roughly 80 years.
If by victory over the U.S. you mean Iran has no top-level military, their government is barely holding on to power, their economy is nonfunctional, and that they are, in desultory fashion, firing drones at shipping — that’s a pretty narrow definition of victory.
The Times writes: “The regime survived a wave of targeted killings early in the war. It then managed to turn the tables on its more powerful adversaries, introducing something of a stalemate. Since mid-March, Iran has maintained control over the Strait of Hormuz, an international waterway crucial to the world&#8217;s oil and gas trade. It has been able to limit U.S. and Israeli strikes on its energy industry. It even got President Donald Trump to rein in Israel&#8217;s war in Lebanon against Hezbollah and Iranian-backed militia.”
Most of these points are false. If Iran maintained control over the Strait of Hormuz, they would be able to ship their own oil out; they would be able to toll ships that were traveling.
They can’t.
Sure, President Trump is concerned about the spike in oil prices that would accompany an Iranian counter-fire against the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. But as far as limiting U.S. and Israeli attacks on its energy industry, President Trump is not sure that he wants to do that, because he is not sure that he wants to destroy the lifeline of a future Iranian regime if they were too moderate. He&#8217;s concerned that hurting the energy supplies in Iran would hurt the Iranian people.
As far as the war in Lebanon, the Israelis are still pursuing military action in Lebanon, and they&#8217;re likely to pursue it further as time goes on because Hezbollah is not giving up the ghost.
Nonetheless, The New York Times did find “experts” to explain that Iran is winning. Nicole Grajewski, who teaches at the Center for International Studies at Sciences Po in France, said, “Iran definitely has the advantage here. The U.S. is just kind of flailing at the moment.”
In what sense do they have an advantage?
The idea here is that Iran is pressuring the UAE and Qatar, except the UAE wants the United States to go even further. Saudi Arabia may be lobbying the United States not to go further, but that&#8217;s only because the United States has not evidenced a willingness to go all the way. If the United States were to say to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, “We&#8217;re toppling the regime,” both of those states would be onside, but they don&#8217;t want half-measures.
Thus, the pressure is not on the United States in the sense that America is about to be damaged; the pressure is on Iran regarding whether the regime lasts.
Iran&#8217;s strategy, according to The New York Times, of targeting oil fields and surrounding countries, “has shifted much of the focus of the war to the crucial question of how to get the strait reopened —  and how to limit Iranian leverage over it in the future. Efforts to pressure Iran to reopen the crucial waterway have proved unsuccessful.”
There are options that President Trump does not want to use, but he certainly could. Nonetheless, according to the New York Times, “Iran, though deeply damaged by the war, is likely to emerge from it with a valuable new asset” — I assume this means shutting down the shipping in the Strait — “having at least partial control over the strait would not only be a source of revenue for the regime, but also a form of geopolitical strength.”
They could have done that before. That&#8217;s the whole point. Do you want a regime that could have shut the Strait at any point to have a ballistic missile umbrella and nuclear weapons?
The answer is no.
It is yet to be seen how the war ends, but to suggest that Iran is somehow stronger now than they were before the war is crazy.
They just did something that they had to do because they were basically on their last legs if they had not shut the Strait of Hormuz. That was their last point of leverage, which, by the way, puts them at odds with China, which needs that oil. If they had not closed the Strait of Hormuz, and if it were to reopen without their economy reopening, they would be in very, very serious trouble.
How about China? The Washington Post is trying to claim that China is benefiting from all this, which is hard to see since their economic growth has slowed and they&#8217;ve been relegated to stealing our tech.
Nonetheless, according to The Washington Post, “A confidential U.S. intelligence analysis details how China is exploiting the war in Iran to maximize its advantage over the United States across military, economic, diplomatic, and other fields &#8230; The assessment, the officials said, was produced this week for the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Dan Caine, and has raised alarm within the Pentagon about the geopolitical cost of Washington&#8217;s standoff with Tehran.”
We should be very clear. There are many intelligence reports presented to the military, so we don&#8217;t know how important this one was. Was it sort of a consensus? Unclear.
“Officials talked about the finding,” the Post continued. “China has sold weapons to Persian Gulf allies of the United States&#8230; Beijing has also assisted countries around the world struggling to meet their energy needs.”
That would be weird given that Beijing does not have access to oil and natural gas.
The reality is that the United States has become the chief exporter of oil and natural gas on Earth, thanks to developments in the Strait of Hormuz. You can see graphics showing the large number of ships leaving American shores with American LNG.
According to the Washington Post, “The war has also drained the U.S. with massive stocks of munitions that would be critical in a potential standoff with China over the fate of Taiwan. The Iran conflict &#8230; has allowed Beijing to observe how the U.S. fights war and learn how to plan its own future operations.”
Beijing would have learned that in any conflict anyway. As far as munitions stocks being short, the reality is that&#8217;s why we need to ramp it up. We should have been ramping it up beforehand. The fact that Joe Biden didn&#8217;t ramp it up, the fact that Barack Obama slashed our military by leaps and bounds, did not help.
“The report notes that Beijing has incorporated popular criticisms of the war into public messaging,” the Post writes.
Of course that&#8217;s true, but none of this is a surprise. China trying to take advantage of an international conflict is not a gigantic shock. But the notion that China is somehow better off when it can&#8217;t import oil from Iran or Qatar or UAE or Saudi Arabia, how?
This doesn&#8217;t mean China doesn&#8217;t have counter moves. Any country worth its salt has counter moves. The question is, are they better off now or were they better off five months ago? And the answer is China was a lot better off five months ago.
But don&#8217;t worry, you can always find an expert. Jacob Stokes, a senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security — a left-wing think tank — says, “On balance, the war in Iran is massively improving China&#8217;s geopolitical position.”
I have doubts that that is the case.
Nonetheless, there are people who are trying to pretend that Beijing is doing well, that Beijing is actually somehow making common cause with Japan and South Korea and Australia.
I don’t think so.
People who don&#8217;t like Trump are claiming that China is going to step in and win the moral party arguments.
I have a hard time believing that unless you&#8217;re an idiot.
Stokes says, “China has an opening to portray the United States as an aggressive, unilateralist power in decline because Washington cannot stop itself from getting embroiled in a bloody and costly Middle East wars.”
First, this is not a particularly bloody nor particularly costly Middle East war. Second, if you want to believe a Chinese attempt to portray us as an aggressive unilateralist power while they threaten Taiwan, eat Hong Kong, threaten Japan, and build bases in the middle of the ocean to attack the Philippines, you are simply stupid.
If you&#8217;re the kind of person who wants to believe that China can make a moral case on the world stage, I would suggest you need to get your brain checked because you have a serious disability of some kind.
But count on the media, in all circumstances, to take the side that says that America ought to be weaker in the world. That&#8217;s become a popular point of view on both the Left and the Woke Right.
The truth has always been that the world is a much better place when America is stronger.

It&#8217;s time to say a bunch of stuff that&#8217;s going to get me in trouble in the too-online sphere right now; people on the Left who live in mansions, who hate capitalism, and also people on the Woke Right, the New Left, who also live in mansions, who also hate capitalism but like to pretend that they like capitalism.
Here we go.
I&#8217;m going to defend private property and free markets and basic common sense, because these are the things that allow you to succeed economically in life. It is good to make more money by providing people with better goods and services. It is good to be fiscally responsible. It is good to make smart decisions about your money.
Most Americans know all that stuff.
But a lot of Americans are being lied to these days. They&#8217;re being told a bunch of garbage that makes their lives actively worse. And increasingly — particularly if they are young and too online — Americans believe those things.
The Left and the Woke Right are going to get angry when I say you shouldn&#8217;t spend too much money eating at a restaurant if you&#8217;re unable to pay your rent. They&#8217;ll say that I&#8217;m saying that because I don&#8217;t care about people.

They will get angry when I say that Amazon makes your life better and cheaper. They&#8217;ll say it&#8217;s better to yell at Amazon, try to shut down their business, and tax them more because “Jeff Bezos is bald and rich and has a yacht!” or something similar. They&#8217;ll get angry when I say that billionaires aren&#8217;t inherently bad because they&#8217;re billionaires, and that instead, genuinely immoral people are bad and moral people are good. Tax returns have nothing at all to do with any of that.
The billionaires are typically billionaires, not because they are stealing from the poor — spoiler alert: the poor don&#8217;t have much money to take — but because they make a lot of people&#8217;s lives better. They make goods and services for cheaper.
So get ready. Here comes the blowback. It comes every time I talk about this stuff.
Remember that time I said young people who couldn&#8217;t afford to live in New York City might think about moving if policies don&#8217;t change because it&#8217;s more productive to search outside of New York City and find some success than to sit there in your expensive apartment with your two roommates and pizza?
People got super-duper mad.
Remember that time I said that Social Security needs to kick in later in life — especially for people who are currently 40 and under — because people are now living 20 years longer, and then Social Security kicks in, which is really expensive and is bankrupting the country? And also that when you hit retirement age, sure, you can retire, especially if you&#8217;re working a backbreaking job, but you should continue to do productive things in your community because it&#8217;s good for you on both a mental and spiritual level?
People got super-mad again.
Well, here&#8217;s the thing. I don&#8217;t really give a crap about how people feel about reality. And here is the reality: the only way your life gets more affordable is 1: You make more money; 2: Your expenses get lower, and 3: Products and services get more plentiful and better and cheaper.
All of these rely on free markets and common sense.
When Americans don&#8217;t feel good about the economy in general, they tend to think that things are “unfair.” “Unfair” is just a substitute for “I don&#8217;t feel good about things.”
This is human nature. It applies to us. It applies to our children. Whenever something happens that my kids don&#8217;t like, it&#8217;s unfair, right? They deserved something, and it didn&#8217;t happen.
It’s possible for two things to be true: The economy is not doing what it should be doing right now, and there are problems in the economy; regulatory problems, subsidy problems, market distortions, etc.
But generally speaking, the economic system in this country is mostly fair.
It is fair because you have property rights in this country. You have the equal rule of law in this country, as opposed to the vast majority of other countries around the Earth and in all of human history.
Politicians love lying to you. It is their favorite thing to do because the way that you win votes is by appealing to the lizard part of the brain, the part that says, “A bad thing happened and it&#8217;s unfair. It&#8217;s the system,” as opposed to, “A bad thing happened. Life is full of bad things.”
How do you solve poverty? The answer for most politicians is to yell at rich people and pretend the rich people got rich by causing poverty, which is untrue.
Poverty is the natural state of all mankind; for all of human history, everyone was poor. The question is not why there are poor people and rich people; the question is why even the poor people in the United States are, by any historical marker, very, very rich. That is the real question.
We now live in a world where, if you give basic financial advice, like “Move elsewhere if you can’t get a job in your area,” if you say things that reflect reality, people get mad, especially if there is a group of people telling them they don&#8217;t need to live in the world of reality.
Is Jeff Bezos the bad guy? Amazon directly employs 1.6 million people globally. People who use Amazon to sell products account for another 2 million jobs. Elon Musk’s global workforce consists of 150,000 people. Mark Zuckerberg&#8217;s Meta has 70,000 employees.
The notion that you kill private property and modern finance and somehow the economy gets better is absolute stupidity. But it is part and parcel of a lie that is being sold to you; that if only you had more power to centralize government, if you gave more power to Bernie Sanders or Tucker Carlson or people who want control over the economy, they would bring you back to some placid, agrarian past in which you can fish in the evening and write poetry in the morning.
It&#8217;s just trash. It&#8217;s stupid, and it does not comport with reality.
And as I’ve been saying for decades: in the end, reality always wins.

The future of the Republican Party was up for grabs in Kentucky&#8217;s 4th Congressional District last night.
It was the most expensive House primary race in history and a bellwether for what comes next inside the GOP.
Thomas Massie versus President Donald Trump. Online versus reality. Woke right versus traditional Trump right.
And Trump won. Reality won.
It turns out the future still belongs to the rational Right.
It belongs to President Trump.

The race was not particularly close. Ed Gallrein, a former Navy SEAL, was Massie’s opponent.
Massie, of course, has been in Congress since 2012 as a 14-year, seven-term congressman. He was destroyed by Gallrein last night; by 7:45 p.m. Eastern time, it was over. Gallrein got roughly 55% of the vote.
Let’s begin at the beginning. There are a lot of stories, a lot of tales, about what defeated Thomas Massie: that Thomas Massie was defeated by AIPAC money, that Thomas Massie was defeated over his strong opposition to Israel, etc.
That is not what happened. Thomas Massie, who was very popular in his district — a district that happens to have gone for Trump by 35 to 40 points in the last several election cycles — lost that seat because he decided that he wanted to go to war with President Trump on policy and also personally.
That&#8217;s the reality.
Thirty-three million dollars was spent in the race. Massie outspent Gallrein directly, and then super PACs got involved. Supporters of President Trump, people who are pro-Israel, spent some $16 million against Massie in the race. Massie&#8217;s supportive super PACs spent about $10 million in the race.
A lot of money poured in.
But to understand the race, you should understand what people in Kentucky&#8217;s fourth district were watching. They were not all online. They were not watching the same race that many of us were in the online world and podcast world.
The ads that were running in Kentucky&#8217;s fourth district told you what this race was about. Massie&#8217;s strategy in his TV ads was to hump President Trump&#8217;s leg. His strategy was: what if I oppose President Trump on all of his major policy proposals and throw a bunch of conspiratorial nonsense crap at President Trump about Jeffrey Epstein, but when it comes time for reelection, I hump his leg like a dog in heat?
Massie opposed Trump on a lot of issues where Massie acted as a fiscal conservative, which is not wrong. In fact, if you go back and look at things I&#8217;ve said about Thomas Massie in the past, he&#8217;s been staunchly small government in ways that I largely support.
But that is not what happened here. What actually happened is he decided that he was going to be a gadfly Republican congressman who was totally useless to Trump, and then attack Trump directly. He refused to support all of Trump&#8217;s major legislative initiatives, including the One Big Beautiful Bill; he was one of only two House Republicans to vote against it.
He decided that he was going to join with Democrats to try to stop President Trump&#8217;s airstrikes on Iran. On the SAVE Act, he voted no on a procedural rule that would have enabled the bill to come to the floor.
And then, of course, his biggest move was that he was going to push Trump on the Epstein files. He was going to suggest there was some deep, dark conspiracy about Epstein. It was really the Epstein stuff that set Trump off, because there are a lot of congress members who have voted against Trump occasionally, and he&#8217;s okay with that.
But Massie decided he was going to join with Democrats in pushing a bunch of online conspiratorial nonsense, including the idea that President Trump was actively covering up some sort of sex trafficking ring involving important people who are Trump&#8217;s friends or Trump himself. He joined with Ro Khanna, another conspiratorial Democrat, to do this.
So Massie decided to go to war with Trump, while every ad that he ran in his district was Massie trying to grab Trump and bear-hug him.
Meanwhile, Trump was deploying his entire administration to say, I want nothing to do with this schmuck.
President Trump actually broke his own Twitter ban to step in and basically stomp on Massie the day before the election. He posted:

If you were a normie in Kentucky&#8217;s 4th Congressional district, what you saw was a congressman whom President Trump did not like because that congressman voted against all of his priorities and was joining with Democrats to do that, as well as personally going after Trump and basically accusing him of covering up a child sex trafficking ring.
That same congressman was trying to hump Trump&#8217;s leg in ads.
It is very clear what this race was about.
Thomas Massie decided to go up against Trump.
And Trump destroyed him.

One GOP Star Just Learned A Very Painful Lesson

If Democrats regain control of the United States government, the insanity of the Biden era is only the beginning.
On Friday, the Supreme Court rejected Virginia Democrats&#8217; emergency request to revive their congressional maps. You’ll recall that Virginia Democrats tried to draw a congressional map that basically reduced Republican representation to nil, a map with just one Republican seat in the entire state.
Then the Virginia Supreme Court decided that it was unconstitutional. Because of the process that had been followed, the Supreme Court declined to interfere with the Virginia Supreme Court&#8217;s ruling.
While Democrats immediately jumped into action to claim that this is all just part of the broader evil racism of the American system, Governor Abigail Spanberger suggested that the Supreme Court had chosen to nullify an election, which is not true. No election was nullified. In fact, this entire referendum was an attempt to nullify future elections by destroying the congressional map that would have allowed some Republicans to get representation in Congress.
She said, “The Supreme Court of the United States has now joined the Supreme Court of Virginia in choosing to nullify an election and the votes of more than three million Virginians.”
This is part and parcel of the goal of Democrats, which is to falsely claim that there is gigantic voter suppression of Democrats happening all over the country.

This quickly turned racial. Kamala Harris stated, “They&#8217;re basically back-dooring racism through politics. They know the power of the people, and it scares them because if they thought on merit that they would win, they wouldn&#8217;t have to resort to this cheating.”
They&#8217;re being deprived of the vote, you understand. It&#8217;s all part of the American project to deprive black people of the vote. Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) said that the Trump administration would rather have black Americans pick cotton than pick the president.
The Democrats’ goal is to ramp up the rhetoric so as to get the vote out for minority voters.
Famed intellectual Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warbled:
<blockquote>It is not a coincidence and our whole country must understand that it was not until voting rights were ratified in this country that we got the Great Society, because when black Americans have the right to vote and that vote is protected, our schools get funded. When voting rights are protected, health care gets expanded. When voting rights are protected, our country moves forward. And Montgomery, that&#8217;s what they&#8217;re actually afraid of. They&#8217;re afraid of us coming together. They&#8217;re afraid of us protecting one another. Alabama is the crucible. Georgia is the crucible. Tennessee, Louisiana. Mississippi is the crucible. So if you are not from here, it is time to pull up. Because what they thought was the final blow is actually just the opening silo.</blockquote>
Opening “silo”?
I think she means “salvo.”
Maybe she means a grain silo? Is she going to open a grain silo?
By the way, she&#8217;s totally wrong on the facts. The idea that the Voting Rights Act preceded the Great Society programs is not true. That is a falsehood. The Great Society programs began in 1964 with the Food Stamp Act and the Economic Opportunity Act, but the Voting Rights Act was passed in 1965.
Voting rights are great. I&#8217;m very, very glad that black people can vote in outsize numbers in the United States as they do, which is why it is so stupid that we keep hearing that black people are somehow not represented in the United States government. That is incredibly dumb.
Senator Cory Booker showed up with his angry eyes in tow. He popped them in, and he got very angry. He shouted:
<blockquote>Because if we in our generation do not now do our duty, we will lose the gains and the rights and the liberties that our ancestors afforded us. Now is our generation&#8217;s time to prove worthy of the blessings. Now is our generation&#8217;s time to respond to the assaults.
You see, we have seen this before, where some people in black robes try to deny or take away our rights. We saw it with Dred Scott. We saw it with Plessy versus Ferguson. We even saw it with Korematsu. But the solution in those days was not to sit back and agonize. It was to stand up and organize and mobilize, because we still live in a democracy, no matter how much they try to undermine it. We still live in a nation where the power of the people is greater than the people in power.</blockquote>
His history is flawed. Comparing what the Supreme Court has said about the drawing of particular districts in the South in 2026 to Dred Scott, which ruled that under the Constitution, black Americans weren&#8217;t people, or Plessy v. Ferguson, which ruled that segregation was legal, or Korematsu v. United States, which argued that Japanese Americans could be interned in times of war, is not quite the same thing.
They&#8217;re all addicted to the Obama program. From 2008 to 2012, Barack Obama posed as a liberal who was going to bring Americans together without regard for race. Then, in 2012, he decided he was going to create a majority-minority coalition with some college-educated white ladies. That was the new majority going forward.
Democrats can never let go of it. They will not let go of it. And so they continue to push this forward.
This whole racial narrative is false. It&#8217;s not true on the merits. Black Americans are not deprived of the vote in the United States. That is a silly contention. There is no statistical evidence that black people are being deprived of the vote in the United States.
But you know what&#8217;s even sillier?
The idea that Democrats are wholesale in favor of pure democracy.
California uses an open primary system. The way it works is that the top two candidates advance to the runoff. Right now, there&#8217;s a possibility that Chad Bianco and Steve Hilton, both Republicans, end up at the top of the heap because there are myriad Democrats running. California Governor Gavin Newsom is openly saying that the process must be thwarted.
As we all know, the “pro-democracy” party is not so pro-democracy when it comes up against their priors.
