On Tuesday, anti-Trump protesters stormed the Heritage Foundation headquarters in Washington, D.C., taking over the lobby and chanting, “Shut it down!”
The protesters, some of whom appear to have been bused in from Chicago, chose Heritage as a target for their demonstration because it’s “Donald Trump’s think tank” — or at least that’s what activist group People’s Action claimed in a tweet. The protesters’ demands? To get “the budget we deserve,” which they made clear does not include funding for the border wall.
