Professor Charles H.F. Davis, the Chief Strategy Officer for the USC Race and Equity Center, wrote in <a href="https://www.insidehighered.com/views/2017/10/18/colleges-shouldnt-punish-student-protesters-essay">Inside Higher Ed</a> that sanctioning students who disrupt conservative events would &#8220;suppress and criminalize&#8221; them.
