<p>Sawant&#8217;s released an <a href="http://council.seattle.gov/2016/12/31/2016-in-review-lets-build-the-fightback-in-2017/">open letter</a> on the City of Seattle&#8217;s taxpayer-funded website on New Year&#8217;s Eve, exhorting socialist activists to join anti-Trump &#8220;Occupy Inauguration&#8221; protests that Socialist Alternative Seattle organized. The event&#8217;s Facebook page already notes at least 3,00 people saying they will go.</p>
