<p><a href="http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/18/politics/paul-manafort-government-wiretapped-fisa-russians/index.html?CNNPolitics=Tw">According to a report from CNN</a>, investigators with the U.S. government were spying on Donald Trump&#8217;s former campaign manager Paul Manafort both before and after the election.</p>
<p>The secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court authorized the wiretapping, issuing a warrant to the FBI in 2015, pursuant to an investigation they&#8217;d begun the year before. According to CNN&#8217;s sources, the investigation focused on Manafort&#8217;s relationship with Russia through Ukranian clients of his consulting and public relations business.</p>
