According to <a href="http://www.circa.com/story/2017/07/26/politics/james-a-baker-fbi-general-counsel-is-allegedly-under-an-investigation-for-leaking-classified-information-to-the-media">Circa News</a>, a top lawyer for the FBI and &#8220;close confidant&#8221; to James Comey, General Counsel James A. Baker, is under a criminal investigation by the Department of Justice on suspicion of &#8220;leaking classified national security information to the media.&#8221;
Circa&#8216;s Sara A. Carter reports that &#8220;multiple government officials close the probe&#8221; speaking on condition of anonymity told the outlet that Baker was being investigated over the alleged intelligence leaks. A bureau spokeswoman would neither confirm nor deny the claim.
