Report: Air Force Tells Servicemen and Women That Words ‘Boy’ And ‘Girl’ Could Offend

   DailyWire.com

Via email, a senior United States Air Force leader explained to an untold number of servicemen and women at Lackland Air Force Base that the words “boy” and “girl,” among other innocuous words and phrases, “may be construed offensive,” says an exclusive report from Fox News contributor Todd Starnes.

Starnes, extracting from a copy of the email he obtained from one Airman displeased with the politically-correct Obamaesque directive, provided a partial list of the “offensive” words and phrases outline by the Air Force official:

1. Boy

2. Girl

3. You People

4. Colonial

5. Blacklist

6. Blackmail

7. Blackball

8. Sounds Greek to me

9. Blondes have more fun

10. Too many chiefs, not enough Indians

“Please be cognizant that such conduct is 100 percent zero tolerance in or outside of the work climate,” said the email. “Let’s capitalize on our richly diverse climate, and help others seek assistance if they are struggling with compliance.”

“Based on my interpretation of the email, it’s pretty clear that Airmen have been advised not to use those words in any sort of context – on or off base,” said Starnes.

But when he reached out to the Lackland public affairs office, a spokesperson said: “The Air Force has no list of prohibited terms…It was sent out by an individual simply reminding Airmen to be respectful to others.”

“Apparently, the words ‘100 percent zero tolerance’ don’t have the same meaning in Air Force vernacular,” notes Starnes.

Under the Obama Administration, the United States Military became a social justice project; from the Department of Justice’s embarrassing handbook outlining the proper pronoun usage and warning against “gender assumptions” to the encouragement of ROTC cadets to wear red high-heels for “equality,” or something.

We can’t get General James “Mad Dog” Mattis in there soon enough to reverse this utter nonsense.
