NBC News has released two propaganda videos constructed to insinuate American children believe President Trump is a racist and dangerous to the country.
The first video, titled, “Dear Mr. President: Kids Talk Trump,” starts with a youngster praising Trump; he allows, “I’m excited for a political outsider that can solve the disconnect between the American citizens and the legislators of Washington.” But that is immediately followed by a young girl stating, “When you speak on things that make me feel uncomfortable or I disagree with, you make me feel small, because I know I can’t change it.” A young black man intones, “I want you to know that I don’t like your definition of American because I don’t seem to fit within it.”
A young black girl follows, “Most of my family is black. I’m afraid that you’re gonna hurt some of us blacks.” Another non-white youngster: “You are here, attempting to white-wash America.” A young Latino girl: “You’re going to separate me away from the rest of my family, and I really don’t what that because I love them too much.” A young girl, “Some of my friends are really scared about you building a wall, and the travel ban, because a lot of their families live in different places.
More: “There’s no need to garner so much hate for countries based on the actions of a single group or organization.” “I want you to know that us kids are not always wrong.” “You may be the most powerful man in the country, but you are still the servant to every one of us.” “Maybe, next time, sit down in a quiet room and fully think about what you’re going to do before you decide to do it.”
The other video, titled “Dear Mr. President: Letters from the American Children,” again starts with a quick not to Trump is more of the same, “In the face of political elitism, you provided a much-needed change of pace . . . I think that on the inside you are a good man . . . But that’s not what my friends think.”
Then, the cascade of negativism: “You have banned an entire group of people from coming into the United States, but now who will build it up from the rubble you have out it under?” “Not letting immigrants into America is really not nice, so please let them in.” “Just because I’m Mexican, doesn’t mean you can build a wall around the country.” “Please don’t build a wall, and don’t let people have guns.” “P.S. – Please don’t build a wall around Mexico.” “P.P.S. – Please, please don’t stop the refugees from coming.”
