Just when you thought the Democratic party’s hysteria about President Trump couldn’t get louder, there’s always a powerful, self-victimizing liberal who steps up to the plate and continues the Left’s pathetic charade of faux-outrage. Cue Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA)
At a glitzy pro-abortion gala hosted by Emily’s List, Waters addressed a room full of like-minded “pro-choice” Democrats and suggested that she has witnessed a surge of young voters joining her party’s campaign against Trump.
Making wide sweeping claims about renewed support for her political advocacy (without any facts or figures), a narcissistic Waters went out her way to pat herself on the back for going from 46,000 Twitter followers to over 327,000.
Millennials are calling me “Auntie Maxine,” said Waters.
Contradicting herself, Waters went on to say that resisting Trump is an immense burden that she has heroically chosen to take on.
I’ve “decided to put my career on the line,” to oppose Trump, who she called a “disgusting, poor excuse of a man.”
Near the end of her rant, Waters finally became unhinged, calling for Trump’s immediate impeachment.
“I’m not afraid of the word impeached,” she babbled. “I want him impeached, that is what he deserves.”
“But I’ve decided that no matter those who do dislike what I’m doing, no matter those who disagree with me, I feel absolutely certain that this country deserves better than Donald Trump,” she added, bathing in the loud applause of the sycophantic crowd.
In what can only be described as self-parody, Waters ended her speech by telling her audience to “stay woke.”
Keep doing what you’re doing, Ms. Waters. You’ve become something of a walking endorsement for Donald Trump. With each unhinged remark, you give voters one more reason to grant the current president four more years.
