It is possible to sometimes understand what <a href="http://www.latimes.com/topic/social-issues/racism/jesse-jackson-PEPLT007437-topic.html">Rev. Jesse Jackson</a> is saying. Apparently (but who can be absolutely sure these days), the race-baiting reverend called for the abolishment of the electoral college because it gave us the Trump presidency.
According to the <a href="http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-jesse-jackson-la-20170820-story.html">Los Angeles Times</a>, Jackson gave a speech at the Islamic Center of Southern California where he lamented how the electoral college led to the loss of Al Gore in 2000 and Hillary Clinton in 2016 (both won the popular vote), saying it gives too much influence to America&#8217;s rural sections.
