<p>To the surprise of no one familiar with the radical left, a vandal who helped topple a Confederate statue in Durham, NC, this week is actually a pro-North Korea Marxist whose ultimate goal is abolishing capitalism.</p>
<p>The communist vandal is North Carolina Central University student Taqiyah Thompson, who after being <a href="https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/08/durham-arrests/537015/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">arrested</a> Tuesday equated police with Confederate soldiers and Ku Klux Klan members.</p>
