If you were an illegal alien, what progressive paradise would you want to be sent to? It’s a good question and there are hundreds of locations to choose from — ready and waiting as “sanctuaries.”
To the surprise of nobody with a brain, President Joe Biden’s border policies have flooded the country with millions of illegal aliens. States like Texas, Arizona, and Florida have begun shipping these individuals around the country to self-proclaimed sanctuary cities and counties for good reason.
Democratic enclaves like Martha’s Vineyard and New York City voted for the policies that caused the crisis in the first place. They also declared themselves places of refuge and welcome for basically anybody and everybody who dare breaks U.S. immigration law.
Since those local governments asked for it, they should be the ones who handle the millions of illegal aliens flowing into the country. It only makes sense.
With 10 states and more than 180 cities and counties officially marked as sanctuaries for illegal aliens, we thought we would go over some of the best places an illegal immigrant could choose as his or her final destination.
Martha’s Vineyard
Technically, Martha’s Vineyard isn’t a sanctuary city, but it is in Massachusetts which is a self-declared sanctuary state. That’s why Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R ) sent 50 illegal aliens there last week much to the dismay of leftists across the land.
He should keep sending them.
Home to beautiful beaches, and more than 80 hotels, bed and breakfasts, and hundreds of Airbnbs — there’s plenty of room on the island.
At least, you’d think there would be vacancies.
Last Friday, the illegal aliens sent by DeSantis were ferried off the island after residents complained there was already a “housing crisis” — despite it being filled with mega-mansions and the summer home of folks like former President Barack Obama and John Kerry.
Still, imagine trekking through Mexico, and hopping on a plane and landing at Martha’s Vineyard? What a life.
Of course, the hospitality lasts less than two days and it only really sounds serene during the summer months. Winters in New England can be brutal.
New York City
If you can stomach the rising crime, smell of the subway, and cringeworthy behavior from the plant-based Mayor Eric Adams, then the Big Apple isn’t such a bad place to go.
You’ll certainly receive many free perks courtesy of New York City taxpayers.
All you have to do is enter the country, declare asylum, volunteer to go to New York City and supposedly await your asylum hearing in a taxpayer-provided hotel room — then you can expect your children will have the necessary school supplies, therapy, medical care, food, and more given to them. You will even get a prioritized bus route, so your child does not have to walk through the slums of Gotham amidst rising crime. You can also forget about vaccinating your six-year-olds — it is your right, according to the NYC government.
Adams has also recently said that the city is getting a little full. It seems even New York can’t handle the influx of immigrants.
Terrific news, compadres, the mayor is looking into cruise ships for the thousands of illegal aliens.
That’s right, if you’ve ever wanted an all-expense cruise line vacation in the Atlantic Ocean, this is option is darn close.
Who knows? Perhaps that cruise ship will even make its way up toward Martha’s Vineyard.
Aspen, Colorado
If you play your cards right, you could really have life made in the shade by catching a flight to the world renowned ski resort of Aspen, Colorado.
Aspen is home to gorgeous mountains and outdoor activities as well as apres-skiing. It also is in Pitkin County, which is a proud sanctuary county.
Aspen is really four villages that comprise one beautiful, welcoming place for illegal aliens.
In 2016, shortly after the election of Donald Trump, the government of Snowmass Village in Aspen declared themselves to be a sanctuary city.
“We need to honor and respect public discourse and at the same time treat each other with kindness and understanding,” a letter signed by the Snowmass city council said. “Above all else, let’s honor our town’s tradition of inclusivity, respect and kindness to all.”
Sounds excellente. Now they can prove their hospitable attitude by taking in some folks who arrived at the border.
Concord, Massachusetts
This one is for the history lovers amongst the illegal immigrants. Concord has proudly been a liberal town practically since the country was founded.
Per the 2020 election results, residents of Concord supported the Biden-Harris ticket over the Trump-Pence bid by a margin of 10,024 to 1,977. The town is also more than 82% white. It could use a little bit more diversity.
It has the former home of Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Louisa May Alcott and many more historical figures to enjoy.
Surely the people of Concord would love nothing more than seeing a tent village pop up along Walden Pond.
If they don’t like that, maybe the illegal aliens could be housed in Concord’s Colonial Inn — which has been up and running since 1716.
Durham County, North Carolina
So long as you’re not wearing a Duke shirt or University of North Carolina gear in the wrong part of the county, residents of Durham County North Carolina have made it clear they’ll welcome anybody anyone who comes to the country — the more illegal the better.
Perhaps the DeSantis administration should send the next plane full of migrants to one of the schools on Tobacco road?
In the words of Dick Vitale, “It’s Duke vs. UNC, baby! What’s better than this?” It’s also a sanctuary county, so start making room for your new residents in the bleachers at Cameron Indoor and the Dean Smith Center, you proud Dukies and Tar Heels.
Want Warmer Weather?
Unfortunately, on account of being generally conservative and having commonsense, most of the warm weather states in the U.S. don’t have sanctuary cities. They still respect rule of law.

Why Can’t They Just Remain In Mexico?
Most of this problem could go away if Biden decided to bring back the “Remain in Mexico” policy. Trump’s key immigration protocol forced Mexico to house migrants as they wait asylum court. Under Biden, migrants are captured and released into the U.S. interior.
It wouldn’t be so great for the illegal aliens, but it would be best for the American taxpayer.
Of course, Biden is unlikely to renege on his border policies anytime soon. According to his veep, Kamala Harris, the administration is looking into U.S. citizenship for the illegal aliens already here.
It looks like it will take a Republican back in office to end the border madness.
In meantime, ideally we can keep sending these folks to sanctuary cities. After all, they wanted the illegal aliens in first place.
