Germany Just Arrested A Syrian Man Suspected Of Being An Al-Qaeda Terrorist Who Murdered 36 People

Germany just arrested three people suspected of aiding and committing terrorism in Syria, one of whom may have murdered 36 people.

The man, identified as Abdalfatah HA, is believed to have been a part of Jabhat Al-Nusra Front, Syria’s al-Qaeda affiliate; he conducted the murder of 36 Syrian government workers in 2013 to carry out the orders of a Sharia court. This fits Germany’s definition of a war crime.

Another one of the men that Germany arrested is identified as Abdulrahman AA, another Syrian migrant who is also believed to have been an Al-Nusra Front member. He allegedly fought alongside Abdalfatah in Syria against the Syrian government.

German prosecutors have not confirmed that these two Syrian men have sought to obtain asylum, although there are reports that suggest that they were.

A third man from Bosnia was also arrested for providing vehicles to a Sunni Islamist group called Junud al-Sham.

The Al-Nusra Front in 2013 had formed an alliance with ISIS, although a power struggle soon caused the two split from each other. Al-Nusra has since attempted to shed itself of its al-Qaeda affiliation to gain support from Syrian rebels, although the move is believed to be nothing more than a PR stunt.

Germany has been plagued by a rape crisis since its lax immigration policies have attracted Muslim migrants; many cases go unsolved and are underreported. The German parliament has attempted to crack down on these cases with their “No Means No” bill that causes “any form of non-consensual sex will now be punishable as a crime,” thus making it easier to deport a migrant.

Many Germans view the massive volume of Muslim migrants entering their country as a serious problem, as according to the UK Express, “58 percent of Germans see refugees and integration as the most important problems Germany is facing.” The migrant problem has also resulted in a decline in German chancellor Angela Merkel’s popularity.

Should Abdalfatah HA and Abdulrahman AA be confirmed as Syrian migrants, it would only further highlight this problem that Germany is facing.
