BREAKING: Shooting At California Elementary School, ‘Multiple Students’ Airlifted To Hospital

California law enforcement officials responded to a reported shooting Tuesday morning that appears to have begun at a home and moved to an elementary school.

ABC News reported:

At least five people are dead from an apparent random shooting spree today in rural Northern California. The shootings took place in seven locations, including an elementary school. The dead included the shooter, who was killed by police.

Several students at the elementary school were hospitalized, according to police. No deaths were reported at the school, a school official said.

Ann Bates, administrative assistant to the superintendent of the Corning Union Elementary School District, said injuries, but no deaths, were reported at the school.

Sara Stinson of Action News Now reported that at least 100 law enforcement officials were at five different scenes where the shooter is alleged to have opened fire.
