Aaron Carter Found Dead At Age 34

Singer Aaron Carter, 34, was found dead in his California home on Saturday, reports say.

The troubled musician was found unresponsive after authorities received a call around 11 a.m. about a drowned male, sources said, according to TMZ.

Initial reports indicated Carter was found in his bathtub, but FOX 11 now reports the “I Want Candy” singer was found dead in his pool, according to LA County Fire.

The 34-year-old had a history of drug and mental health-related problems, as well as run-ins with the law.

In September, Carter revealed he had “voluntarily” checked himself into an out-patient program at a rehabilitation center, Page Six reports. The singer-turned-rapper was fighting for custody of his son, 11-month-old Prince.

Carter is survived by Prince and other family members, including his brother Nick Carter, of “Backstreet Boys” fame.
