According to New York State, Illegal Immigrants Are More Important Than Conservatives

On Monday, New York’s Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo and Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced that they will sue the Trump administration for ending Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy. Obama passed DACA in 2014 with no input from Congress, which makes this law blatantly unconstitutional. As such, Trump campaigned on repealing it, and now plans to end it, as Politico reported yesterday.

In turn, Cuomo and Schneiderman released a statement about a potential lawsuit if DACA is repealed, saying that “ending the DACA program would be cruel, gratuitous, and devastating to tens of thousands of New Yorkers—and I will sue to protect them. Dreamers are Americans in every way …”
