MSNBC’s Morning Joe co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough are apparently the new hot couple in the world of politics. Though Mika and Joe themselves have yet to confirm this much, sources close to the hosts say the two will likely go public soon.

“Everybody at 30 Rock knows they are a couple,” an NBC insider told Page Six. “They are constantly together, they arrive and leave events together, even on weekends. They are each other’s publicists and finish each other’s sentences. It’s the worst-kept secret in TV.”

The two hosts have been rumored to have a romantic relationship in the past, but Mika’s recent relationship status has thrust those rumors into overdrive: Mika, 49, and her husband of 23 years, WABC investigative reporter James Hofferm, have quietly ended their marriage. The ex-couple has two teenage daughters together.

“Mika’s divorce was finalized in the past year," confirmed an MSNBC spokesperson. “She’s really grateful that it was done amicably and in private. This has, of course, been a painful time for her family. So right now she is focused on her two teenage daughters, and on continuing to heal.”

Mika has always been "open," says a close friend of the MSNBC co-host, suggesting she will likely go public with the relationship in the near future. 

“Mika has always been very open — in her books and elsewhere — about her failures and disappointments in life, her struggles with eating disorders, her career, the ups and downs of parenting," she said, adding, "I’m sure down the road she’ll want to share more about this experience, but right now she thinks it’s best for her family to have some privacy."

Joe, 53, has been single for some time now, ending his 12-year marriage to Susan Waren, a former aide to former Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush, in 2013. Joe and Susan also have two children together.
