Earlier this month, a Florida man was reportedly caught raping a 2-year-old girl in a Chick-fil-A restroom.
The baby girl was stopped from being further abused when another male customer, who has not been named, witnessed the disturbing act in a bathroom tile reflection and put a stop to it.
Thirty-five-year-old David Michael Gray, who reportedly works at an at-home daycare center in Orlando, was arrested and is currently being held without bond in the Orange County Jail.
According to Fox 23 News, Gray has been charged with a slew of disturbing misconduct allegations, including: "sexual battery on a child younger than 12, lewd or lascivious battery, lewd or lascivious molestation on a child younger than 12, lewd or lascivious conduct by a person older than 17, child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and exposure of sexual organs."
The unnamed man who stopped the assault said he first saw something "questionable" in a bathroom wall tile reflection while he was using the urinal. He was unsure if Gray, who was using a wheelchair, was abusing a baby or simply bouncing her on his lap.
Fox 23 reports:
“(The witness) was not sure if the baby was bouncing or if they were having sex,” the report said. “(The witness) stated he flushed the toilet on purpose to let the man hear him in the bathroom. (The witness) stated, if he panics, then he must be doing something wrong.”
After Gray seemingly panicked at the sound of the toilet flush, the witness knew there was sexual misconduct. When he attempted to stop the man from leaving, Gray threatened to kill him with a stun gun he pulled out, ran over the man's foot with his wheelchair, and left the bathroom with the child.
“Call the police, a child is being abused in the bathroom,” the man reportedly said.
Gray apparently frequents the restaurant twice a week, if not more, with a woman and children, one employee told authorities.
"Police were still uncertain how Gray knew the 2-year-old, but a woman who claims to be Gray’s employer told investigators that the 35-year-old is a daycare worker in her home," reports faithit.com.
