According to a report from ABC News, Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was seen with a mystery woman in the days leading up to his deadly attack on a Las Vegas country music festival, where 58 people were killed and nearly 500 others were injured.
"Officials briefed on the investigation told ABC News that investigators believe Paddock was seen with another woman, who was not his girlfriend, in the days before Sunday night's shooting," says the ABC report.
As noted by the network, the woman was not Marilou Danley, a 62-year-old woman who has been identified by police officers as Paddock's girlfriend.
Danley was located in the Philippines after the attack, apparently "sent" there by Paddock two weeks prior to the largest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. On Tuesday night, she landed in the states and spoke to the FBI for a reported five hours.
Danley has been labeled as a "person of interest" by Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo and maintains she’s innocent, completely unaware of the murderous plot.
According to the ABC report, investigators have yet to identify the mystery woman seen with Paddock, but "are interested in speaking with her to find out whether she has any insight."
Some of Danley's statements to the FBI have been revealed in recent reports, including her description of Paddock as showing symptoms of mental health issues.
