College campuses have become a hotbed of far-left groupthink and are churning out snowflake social justice warriors at an alarming rate. But we might be reaching a point where the left-wing indoctrination on college campuses is starting to backfire.

Take the example of Jay Stephens. She explains in PragerU's latest video that she entered college as a typical left-wing college student but left as a rock-ribbed conservative because she became fed up with the nonstop, in-your-face leftism on campus.

"Invariably each class followed the same monotonous ritual: identify a problem — say, racism; blow it up beyond all proportion; blame the problem on the white majority culture; and then offer an unworkable solution — usually involving the government," said Stephens. "Everywhere I turned, I saw political correctness. At first, I just rolled with it. Then, I got annoyed. Then, it started to tick me off."

Stephens realized that she was borrowing money to pay for being "brainwashed" and "indoctrinated." To escape it all, she turned to marijuana, which ironically caused her to become more conservative.

"Parenthetically, most of the worst stoners I knew are now working in finance or politics," said Stephens. "In fact, this is what made me first realize that I was a fan of limited government. I do not trust these goofs to make policy. Their power must be constrained."

Additionally, Stephens noticed that she and her peers had basically wasted their time on "useless majors" that caused them to graduate without "any actual job skills." Once she entered the real world, Stephens realized just how much money the government siphons off from your paycheck in taxes.

"It's shocking," said Stephens. "And that’s not even counting the mandatory $400 a month deduction for my student loans. I’ll probably have that albatross around my neck for the rest of my life."

Stephens added, "Really, I can't believe my peers and I spent so much time shaming conservatives for wanting to lower taxes."

Ironically, it was the left-wing indoctrination perpetuated by college that caused Stephens to turn to conservatism. If what happened to Stephens is becoming a trend, there may still be hope for the country after all.
