Here's something you most definitely haven't heard in the mainstream media: President Trump has been nominated for the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize.

 

The MSM is too busy trying to sell the Trump-is-Russian story and ignoring the wiretapping of Trump Tower. So we'll fill you in.

 

Trump is nominated for “his vigorous peace through strength ideology, used as a threat weapon of deterrence against radical Islam, ISIS, nuclear Iran and Communist China,” according to a report by Agence France Presse.

 

While there were early rumors Israel may push the award, Trump was nominated by an American.

 

"A near ­record 318 people and organizations are in the running for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize, the Nobel Institute said on Thursday, the motley crew believed to include Syria’s White Helmets, Donald Trump and Pope Francis," AFP wrote. "The names of the nominees are kept secret for 50 years, but those entitled to nominate candidates – including lawmakers and government ministers, former laureates and some university professors – are free to reveal the name of the person or group they have nominated."

 

Of course, there's little chance the liberal group would award one to a Republican. Hell, Ronald Reagan ended the Cold War and he never got one.

 

But the Nobel committee loved Barack Obama, who famously received the Peace Prize less than nine months into his tenure just for creating a “new climate."

 

Its ex-secretary Geir Lundestad said that was a mistake.

 

“Even many of Obama’s supporters believed that the prize was a mistake,” he said. “In that sense the committee didn’t achieve what it had hoped for.”

 

Trump mocked Obama in 2013 for the award. "Our NOBEL PRIZE FOR PEACE president said 'I'm really good at killing people' according to just out book Double Down. Can Oslo retract prize?" he wrote on Twitter.
