On Thursday, a group of "anti-fascist" fascists in Iowa City decided to burn multiple American flags, presumably under the assumption that a badass FexEd guy wasn't going to show up and utterly destroy their leftist party.

"When I see the flag, I see racial injustice," said Paul Osgerby, one of the spoiled brat anti-Americans in attendance. "I see social injustice from Native American genocide to African-American slavery to failing to recognize women as citizens until the 20th century."

But the "protest" didn't go as planned.

In a captured video shared online, a bystander rebukes the anti-American punks for their counterproductive actions, while another man in a FedEx uniform, now identified as Matt Uhrin, is seen walking with serious pace toward a FedEx truck. Within a matter of seconds, Uhrin returns back to the "protest" with a fire extinguisher in hand.

What happens next is magical: Uhrin grabs the flags from the millennial punks, who looked all sorts of typical with their skinny jeans and unwashed hair, and puts out the burning flags with the extinguisher. When the 100-pound punks attempt to push around the jacked patriot (holy terrible move), Uhrin shoves them off with blunt force.

Watch: (caution: strong language)

As noted by Iowa City Press Citizen, "Two members of the group, Osgerby and Kelli Ebensberger, also of Iowa City, were charged with violating Iowa City's public burn ordinance, a simple misdemeanor punishable by up to 30 days in jail or a fine of up to $625."

Osgerby and Ebensberger were charged because they did not have a permit to burn any such material, according to Iowa City Police Sgt. Scott Gaarde.

"It’s not for the content of what they were burning but rather for violating the city ordinance of open burning," stated Gaarde.

"Probably every one of them has a relative at one point or another that died for that [flag]," added the sergeant.

Uhrin had no other comment of the incident other than making it clear that his actions were not connected to FedEx, his employer.

The badass patriot has been heavily applauded online for his actions.

Well done, patriot.
