The inauguration of Donald Trump has naturally awakened the dregs of society, who have erupted in protests over the democratically elected 45th President of the United States. Unfortunately, the protests by the radical left have, yet again, devolved into violence:

Here are the 11 worst protest moments from Inauguration Weekend.
1. Two police officers had to go to the hospital due to injuries at the hands of protesters. According to CNN, the two officers were injured by rocks and bottles thrown by protesters. They are expected to survive their injuries.

2. A protester spat in the face of a cop. The protester also “repeatedly elbowed and shoved one of the officers” before spitting, and was eventually “arrested for assault of a police officer and aggravated disorderly conduct,” the Daily Wire‘s Hank Berrien reports.
3. Protesters assaulted a Trump supporter outside of DeploraBall. The supporter, James Allsup, had his hat stolen from anti-Trump protester. In his attempt to get it back, Allsup was struck with a flagpole:

4. Alt-Right leader Richard Spencer was punched in the face. Spencer was telling reporters about his Pepe the Frog lapel when a protester suddenly punched him in the face. Spencer was naturally rattled and walked away.

The Daily Wire has reported on what a contemptible figure Spencer is here, but as attorney Jeffrey Blehar noted on Twitter:
I wish I could make a “Richard Spencer” exception, oh how do I ever, but no, even neo-Nazi scum like him shouldn’t be punched in the face.
— Jeff B/DDHQ (@EsotericCD) January 21, 2017
Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro also had an appropriate tweet on the matter:
Don’t punch Richard Spencer in the face, people. He punched himself in the face with that Nazi salute just fine. https://t.co/4jqxhQF95e

The fire was promptly put out, so it doesn’t appear that anyone was hurt.
7. A young child started a fire at the anti-Trump protest outside of DeploraBall and then bragged about it. The kid proudly told a Fox News reporter on camera that he ignited it because he “felt like it” and wanted to send a “screw our president” message:

The kid probably doesn’t realize that at that time, Trump still wasn’t sworn in as president yet.
8. Businesses and property were vandalized by anti-Trump protests. Twitchy gathered a roundup of tweets showing the extent of the damage:
