President Donald Trump on Friday endorsed Darline Graham Nordone to succeed her late brother, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), even though she has yet to announce whether she&#8217;ll run in next month&#8217;s special Republican primary. 
<a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/116936914779266256">In a Truth Social post</a>, Trump said he asked Nordone to run in the August 11 special GOP primary. 
“I hope Darline does this, in that there would be nobody better to honor the legacy of her beloved brother, Lindsey,” Trump said. “Darline, who comes from an absolutely incredible family, has been a WINNER all of her life and, should she accept, has my Complete and Total Endorsement in the Special Election for U.S. Senate in South Carolina — SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN.

As of Friday afternoon, Graham has not formally launched or committed to running for her brother’s seat.

The mother of Henry Nowak’s killer, whose false allegations of racism sparked a political and cultural firestorm, was sentenced to three years in prison for hiding Vickrum Digwa’s murder weapon from police.
A Southampton Crown Court judge handed down the sentence after a jury convicted Kiran Kaur, 53, of assisting an offender.

On the Maine Democratic Party’s <a href="https://mainedems.org/ashley-webb/">website</a>, Webb pledges to build on Platner’s grassroots campaign.

Facing a July 27 deadline, the Maine Democratic Party will <a href="https://mainedems.org/advisory-mdp-to-host-u-s-senate-nominating-convention/">hold</a> a nominating convention on July 25 in Bangor, where 601 voting delegates – not Democratic primary voters – will choose the party&#8217;s nominee.

A manhunt is underway for six armed black teenagers caught on surveillance video surrounding and assaulting an elderly white man before entering a Baltimore convenience store.
On July 7, at about <a href="https://x.com/BaltimorePolice/status/2077539424745742724?t=226">3:46</a> a.m., a 74-year-old man was assaulted in the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue. Surveillance video showed the suspects, described as younger males, confronting the elderly man outside a 7-Eleven. One suspect was seen carrying a gray assault-style rifle, while another displayed a sword.
The Baltimore Police Department is pleading for the public’s help to identify the sword-wielding suspects. The harrowing minute-and-a-half of footage shows a young adult dressed in a black hoodie running up to the man and shoving an assault-style rifle in his face. 
Remarkably, the older man stood his ground, appearing unfazed, even as five additional suspects joined the mob and attempted to open his car and rob him.
The young suspects hurled items at the 74-year-old until one ran up from behind to push him to the ground. Even then, lying on the pavement, the man refused to let the mob gain the upper hand. He kicked, twisted, and fought back while shielding his face from incoming punches and attacks.
Police described the incident as an attempted robbery and reported that the elderly man sustained only minor injuries, according to <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/baltimore/news/baltimore-7-eleven-attack/">CBS News</a>.
Juvenile crime continues to plague Baltimore and other deep-blue cities despite historic reductions in reported violent crime. <a href="https://www.baltimoresun.com/2026/07/15/baltimore-county-juvenile-crime-unsafe/">The Baltimore Sun</a> reported Wednesday that many residents still do not feel safe and are demanding a crackdown from local authorities. 
Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott has not addressed the 7-Eleven robbery, but acknowledged the city has more work to do in tackling crime. 
“Today, Baltimore is seeing its lowest number of homicides in 50 years, and now this strategy and our city has become an example for cities across the nation,” he <a href="https://x.com/MayorBMScott/status/2077517358403293652?s=20">said</a> in a statement. “But let me be clear: we’re not done. One life lost is still one too many. We will continue to ignore the noise, and we will keep working.”

The Canadian national accused of unleashing a physical assault on a pro-Trump teenager for simply wearing MAGA memorabilia on a Jersey Shore boardwalk is in the country illegally. 
Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, is a criminal illegal alien from Canada who overstayed her visa that expired in September 2024, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
DHS says the red-haired Canadian slapped a teenage girl wearing pro-Trump memorabilia on a Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk during the Fourth of July weekend. Local police arrested Tracey and transferred her into ICE custody.
According to authorities, Tracey filmed herself confronting a group of four young girls on July 3. The trigger? Two of the minors were wearing patriotic sweatpants emblazoned with the words “Trump” and “ICE,” <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ice-takes-action-after-canadian-lefty-accused-of-slapping-american-teen-over-trump-pants">The Daily Wire</a> previously reported. Tempers flared, and the Canadian allegedly smacked one of the young girls across the face and body. 
Cops used security footage to track down the angry Canadian. She was hit with a laundry list of charges, including endangering the welfare of a child, assault, harassment, and obstruction.
On Monday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents snatched Tracey up and threw her into the Delaney Hall detention center in Newark.

“She entered the United States on April 14, 2024, on a visa set to expire on September 6, 2024. In violation of our nation’s laws, she overstayed her visa and failed to depart,” DHS said in a statement. 
Her husband, Matthew Geroni — who calls himself the “Clown of Asbury Park” and regularly mocks conservatives — turned to TikTok to ask his 140,000 followers for help. A GoFundMe page he launched to cover her legal fees was later removed after reports from conservative users.
“This whole situation has been blown out of proportion, and a person like Kate does not belong in any facility,” the 42-year-old husband, who admitted he was not there at the time, <a href="https://www.nj.com/news/2026/07/canadian-woman-doxxed-fundraiser-shut-down-after-she-was-accused-of-slapping-pro-trump-teen.html">told NJ.com</a>.
“My wife has never been in trouble in her entire life. She’s never had any kind of situation like this. A King County Superior Court judge on Tuesday permanently ordered the City of Seattle to crack down on sex acts and lewd behavior at a popular beach known for attracting nude sunbathers and members of the LGBTQ community.
In a 14-page ruling, Judge Samuel Chung found that illegal sexual conduct at Denny Blaine Park constitutes a public nuisance that has &#8220;substantially interfered with nearby residents&#8217; ability to use and enjoy their homes,&#8221; according to <a href="https://www.king5.com/article/news/local/seattle/judge-rules-conditions-at-seattles-denny-blaine-park-are-a-public-nuisance/281-9813a6af-4cb1-4ef8-9edf-ba6845011e95">KING5 News.</a>
The decision is a victory for a coalition of neighbors who sued the city. Chung granted the plaintiffs&#8217; request for a permanent injunction, directing Seattle officials to increase park staffing, deter lewd conduct, prevent trespassing onto neighboring properties, and install signage informing visitors of proper behavior.
Chung stopped short of ordering the permanent closure of the park, saying that course of action would not provide a long-term solution, KING 5 reported. 
Located on the affluent western shore of Lake Washington, <a href="https://www.seattle.gov/parks/parks/denny-blaine-park">Denny Blaine Park</a> is a 2-acre waterfront park known for swimming, picnicking, and views of Mount Rainier. For decades, the park&#8217;s grassy, unguarded beach has been a popular gathering place for LGBTQ members to strip down. 
Starting in 2010 and increasing during the COVID-19 pandemic, community members began documenting &#8220;escalating incidents of public masturbation, sexual acts, voyeurism, and trespassing,&#8221; Chung wrote, according to KOMO News. The judge concluded that those activities &#8220;substantially interfere&#8221; with neighboring homeowners&#8217; rights to use their properties safely.
Court documents show that 13 homes nearby experienced a 10% decline in property values, according to <a href="https://www.king5.com/article/news/local/seattle/judge-rules-conditions-at-seattles-denny-blaine-park-are-a-public-nuisance/281-9813a6af-4cb1-4ef8-9edf-ba6845011e95">KING 5.</a>
The ruling found that city officials and Seattle police handled complaints at Denny Blaine Park differently because of concerns over bias allegations and potential lawsuits, according to KOMO. Chung said evidence showed park employees were discouraged from confronting inappropriate behavior, while police often needed supervisory approval before responding to calls.
Denny Blaine Park For All, a neighborhood group that sued Seattle over conditions at the park, hailed the ruling as a victory. The <a href="https://www.dennyblaineparkforall.org/">group’s website</a> includes disturbing videos and photos, which it says corroborate complaints of lewd sex acts and drug use.
“The court affirmed what they have been saying for years, ruling that: &#8216;The prevalence of nudity and lewd conducts have substantially interfered with the Plaintiff’s ability to use and enjoy their properties&#8217; and &#8216;the court also finds that unlike visitors to the park, plaintiff residents’ experience with nudity and lewd conduct has been much more extensive, repeated, and harmful,'&#8221; the plaintiffs said in a statement, according to KOMO. 
“The Denny Blaine community will be laser-focused on holding the city accountable and ensuring it follows the court’s orders,” the group added. 
Tuesday’s ruling followed a 2025 preliminary injunction directing the city to begin abatement efforts. In response, Seattle officials submitted a plan to divide the park into two areas: clothing-optional and clothing-required. 
“This plan balances the historical nude use of the park while also responding to the court order that the City must abate nuisance activities,” the <a href="https://www.seattle.gov/parks">Seattle Parks and Recreation</a> website reads. 
Chung found the plan failed to curb illegal behavior at the park, prompting him to issue a permanent injunction mandating increased enforcement measures.
Friends of Denny Blaine, a group representing LGBTQ nude beachgoers, disagreed with the ruling, saying Denny Blaine works best &#8220;when everyone&#8221; feels safe and respected.

A majority of House Democrats on Wednesday voted to block all U.S. security aid to Israel, escalating a contentious debate that has exposed deepening divisions within the party over America’s relationship with the Jewish state.
The legislative <a href="https://amendments-rules.house.gov/amendments/Amendment%20to%20HR.8595%20-%20Israel260615132213134.pdf">amendment</a>, which Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) introduced, would have cut $3.3 billion in security assistance that the U.S. has pledged to Israel.
The amendment <a href="https://x.com/JakeSherman/status/2077494665285095668?s=20">ultimately failed</a> on the House floor in a 104-314 vote. All Republicans except Massie, joined by 98 Democrats, voted against the measure, while 10 Democrats voted present.
Internal Democratic divisions were on full display leading up to the vote. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who opposed the measure, urged his members to follow their conscience.
“In my view, there are more decisive ways to achieve the urgent change necessary when it comes to the far-right Netanyahu government,” Jeffries <a href="https://x.com/DropSiteNews/status/2077051888072114676?s=20">wrote in a letter</a> to his fellow Democrats. “Republican leaders are desperately trying to weaponize an amendment they do not support for nakedly partisan reasons.”
“However, given the strongly held views throughout the Caucus in this important area of foreign policy, we are not whipping this vote,” he added.
Whipping a vote is a conventional practice in which party leaders work to ensure they have enough support from rank-and-file members to pass or defeat a measure. Trying to thread the needle, Jeffries, without giving specifics, said the status quo has to go.
“Moving forward, it is my strongly held view that for the good of Israel and the Palestinian people, American policy in the Middle East must change,” he said.
Jeffries’ argument was not persuasive enough to win over his deputy, Rep. Katherine Clark (D-MA), the number two House Democrat.
“I think that this is a cynical effort with this amendment to divide people,” Clark <a href="https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2026/07/15/congress/katherine-clark-israel-aid-00998666">said</a> in an interview with <a href="https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2026/07/15/congress/katherine-clark-israel-aid-00998666">Politico</a>. “But it is also a chance to say clearly that the status quo is not acceptable.”
“There is no country that should be given a blank check for military aid that is not in line with our interests and values as Americans,” she added.
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) also <a href="https://x.com/JakeSherman/status/2077489497080549785?s=20">voted</a> to strip Israel of U.S. military aid, describing the amendment as &#8220;ill-conceived&#8221; but saying she supported &#8220;the message that it sends.&#8221;
Some Democrats couldn&#8217;t help but tie the vote to President Donald Trump.
&#8220;Benjamin Netanyahu, like Donald Trump, is a corrupt authoritarian who should face criminal courts — not receive billions more for weapons,&#8221; Representative Robert Garcia (D-CA) <a href="https://x.com/RepRobertGarcia/status/2077428826020164057?s=20">said</a>. &#8220;The American people want lower housing costs and more affordable groceries, not more bombs and foreign wars.&#8221;
No matter how symbolic, the fissures exposed by Wednesday’s vote underscore the extraordinary shift underway in a Democratic Party that was once broadly supportive of military aid to Israel. The vote comes just weeks after three Democratic incumbents lost primary challenges, in part over their positions on Israel.
In April, a record number of Senate Democrats voted to block weapons sales to Israel. On Tuesday, Democrats also blocked an annual defense policy bill, citing objections to the war in Iran and drawing the ire of Republicans.
“For the first time in U.S. history, every Senate Democrat, led by Chuck Schumer, voted against starting debate on the overwhelmingly bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act,” Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) <a href="https://x.com/SenDanSullivan/status/2077146029166617064?s=20">said</a> on X.

Former President Joe Biden <a href="https://x.com/JoeBiden/status/2077350082702123105?s=20">teased</a> his long-awaited memoir on Wednesday, now set to hit shelves after the midterm elections. The delayed release comes after Democrats raised concerns that publishing the book before Election Day could hurt the party at the ballot box.
“Promise Me, America” is scheduled for release on Nov. 17. Biden, who has fallen out of favor with many Democrats after Trump’s triumphant return to the White House, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/joe-biden-has-a-midterm-surprise-in-store-for-democrats">previously suggested</a> the book would be released before the November election. 
<a href="https://promisemeamerica.com/">A website</a> promoting the tell-all promises a “candid and revealing” account of the “deeply agonizing calculation” behind Biden’s decision to drop out of the 2024 presidential race. 
“Since I left the presidency, I&#8217;ve had a lot of people ask me, ‘Joe, what have you been doing?’” Biden said in the announcement while sitting in a chair. “I&#8217;ve been spending a lot of time with my family. I&#8217;m dealing with a cancer diagnosis, and I&#8217;ve been getting treatment. It&#8217;s been going really well.”
In the two-minute trailer, the former president said the memoir will chronicle the highs and lows of his presidency, which included decades-high inflation, record illegal border crossings, and new wars erupting in Europe and the Middle East.
“It&#8217;s about the challenges we faced as a nation, about the decisions I made, and why I made them. Leading the country through COVID, rebuilding our economy, and restoring our democracy after the attack on January 6th, ending our nation&#8217;s longest-running war in Afghanistan, strengthening NATO, and supporting Ukraine.” 
Conservative critics quickly mocked the book on social media, with some questioning whether Biden, 83, actually wrote it himself.
“I can’t believe the autopen wrote a whole book,” <a href="https://x.com/benshapiro/status/2077385062341812381?s=20">said</a> Ben Shapiro, The Daily Wire Editor Emeritus, a sentiment echoed by reality TV star Spencer Pratt.
&#8220;This guy couldn&#8217;t even sign his own name. He&#8217;s not writing books. LMAO,&#8221; Pratt <a href="https://x.com/spencerpratt/status/2077374853976391779?s=20">said</a>. &#8220;Politicians write books to launder money. Nobody wants to read this, but the corrupt NGOs he provided for as President will buy up 100K copies and burn &#8217;em to hold up their end of the bribes.
In June, Biden teased that the book was set for a September release date, a move that would’ve injected the former president into the political spotlight.
Despite the delay, Biden’s memoir is expected to arrive not long after former first lady Jill Biden’s book, which included revelations that angered parts of the Democratic establishment. In recent interviews promoting her memoir, Jill Biden said she was frightened by her husband’s June 2024 debate performance against President Donald Trump, recalling that she feared he may have been experiencing a medical emergency.

Those comments came more than a year after Biden disclosed that he had been diagnosed with Stage IV prostate cancer that had spread to his bones, a diagnosis that fueled renewed scrutiny over his health and questions about the transparency surrounding his condition while in office.
“The biggest lesson for us, I think, was that if you don’t explain something well enough, then the question won’t go away,” Jill Biden <a href="https://apnews.com/article/joe-biden-memoir-promise-me-america-fc71dd2c1da239995f606b968c7eaac4">wrote</a> in her memoir. “There was never a satisfying enough explanation offered for Joe’s debate performance, and a lot of people never got over it.”

An illegal immigrant from India who killed three people in a Southern California semi-truck crash was sentenced Tuesday to four years and eight months in prison, less than half the maximum sentence he faced. 
Jashanpreet Singh, 21, faced up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to three felony counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence in connection with the October 2025 crash. 
Singh illegally crossed the U.S. border in March 2022 and was released into the country by the Biden administration after being apprehended by Border Patrol, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Although the Indian national was initially arrested under suspicion of DUI, <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/losangeles/news/semi-truck-driver-deadly-crash-southern-california-toxicology-test/">toxicology reports came back negative </a>for drugs or alcohol, according to CBS News. An investigation from the California Highway Patrol found that Singh failed to stop his truck before plowing into traffic.
The judge cited Singh&#8217;s age and the absence of evidence that he was using a cellphone at the time of the crash in imposing the lighter sentence, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ll0WvnzXZY4">according to NBC4.</a>
The case became a flashpoint in the Trump administration&#8217;s effort to prevent illegal immigrants from obtaining commercial driver&#8217;s licenses.
“It is a terrible tragedy three innocent people lost their lives due to the reckless open border policies that allowed an illegal alien to be released into the U.S. and drive an 18-wheeler on America’s highways,” former Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said at the time. “This accident follows a disturbing trend of illegal aliens driving 18-wheelers and semi-trucks on America’s roads.” 
San Bernardino County District Attorney Jason Anderson said Singh should never have been in the country.
“Had the rule of law been followed by State and Federal officials, the defendant should have never been in California at all,” <a href="https://da.sbcounty.gov/2025/10/31/semi-truck-driver-charged-in-multi-vehicle-crash-that-killed-three-and-injured-multiple-victims-in-ontario/">he said.</a>

The U.S. House on Tuesday overwhelmingly passed a bill backed by President Donald Trump that would make daylight saving time permanent year-round, sending the legislation to the Senate. 
<a href="https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/senate-bill/29">The Sunshine Protection Act</a>, which would end the twice-yearly clock changes, passed with bipartisan support in a 308–117 vote. Twenty-two Republicans joined 95 Democrats in opposing the measure.
If enacted, the legislation would make daylight saving time permanent, keeping clocks set to the time currently observed from March through November. States could opt out only if they did so before the law took effect. Most of Arizona, Hawaii, and several U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, do not observe daylight saving time.
Trump has repeatedly urged Congress to end the practice of changing clocks. After the bill advanced out of committee, he wrote that it was time for Americans to stop worrying about “the Clock” and described the current system as a “ridiculous, twice-yearly production.” 
He also called permanent daylight saving time “the far more popular alternative” and urged Republicans to support the measure, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/america-just-moved-one-step-closer-to-ending-clock-changes">The Daily Wire</a> reported. 
Florida lawmakers rallied hard for the bill before Tuesday&#8217;s vote, arguing it better reflect the Sunshine State&#8217;s identity. 
“Why in the heck are we still changing our clocks?” Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) said, <a href="https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2026/07/14/congress/house-votes-for-daylight-saving-time-00997817">according to Politico.</a> “Floridians — we are the Sunshine State. We value sunshine.”
Fellow Florida Republican Rep. Gus Bilirakis backed Cammack up, adding, “This is not about politics. This is about practicality. It is about recognizing that our laws should keep pace with the people we represent.”
Other lawmakers, however, had a different point of view. 
“I’m not for it,” Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) said. “I think having kids go to school when it’s dark doesn’t make sense.” 
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) has warned that locking the clock would &#8220;push winter sunrises to an absurdly late hour,” <a href="https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5968255-house-sunshine-protection-act-daylight-saving-time/">according to The Hill. </a>
Supporters argue that eliminating the twice-yearly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/americas-clock-change-nightmare-may-finally-be-running-out-of-time">clock changes</a> could reduce some of the health and safety risks associated with the spring transition. Research cited by the American Heart Association has found <a href="https://newsroom.heart.org/news/heres-your-wake-up-call-daylight-saving-time-may-impact-your-heart-health">increases in heart attacks and strokes</a> in the days after clocks move forward, while a University of Colorado Boulder <a href="https://www.colorado.edu/today/2020/01/30/spring-forward-daylight-saving-time-brings-surge-deadly-crashes">study</a> found a 6% increase in fatal car crashes during the following workweek. 
Opponents, including several medical organizations, argue that permanent standard time would better align with the body’s natural circadian rhythm because it provides more morning sunlight. 
Daylight saving time was first adopted during World War I and later standardized nationwide under the <a href="https://www.bts.gov/explore-topics-and-geography/geography/geospatial-portal/history-time-zones-and-daylight-saving">Uniform Time Act of 1966. </a>
The legislation heads to the Senate, where it faces an uncertain future.

Behind closed doors, Republican Senators on Tuesday watched a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cxj8CSi0-Jo">touching and emotional tribute</a> to their late colleague, South Carolina Republican Lindsey Graham. 
The nearly three-minute video, which highlights Graham’s political career and trademark humor, was shown at the weekly GOP Senate lunch. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) presented the video during the lunch, which <a href="https://x.com/AndrewDesiderio/status/2077090129810739434?s=20">one reporter</a> described as a memorial to the late senator. Secretary of State Marco Rubio also attended.
“Here’s what I can tell you: life can change just like that,” Graham is heard saying, with overlay footage showing him greeting world leaders. “Don’t take it for granted. Don’t take relationships for granted.”
The tribute highlighted Graham’s decades-long military service with the U.S. Air Force and his passionate defense of then-Supreme Court nominee <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/flashback-the-lindsey-graham-speech-that-turned-the-tide-for-brett-kavanaugh">Brett Kavanaugh</a>, which many political insiders believe helped save his nomination.

“He was a one-in-a-million,” Senator Dave McCormick (R-PA) said in the video. “Someone who could laugh at himself, and was a cut-up, had a great wit, and a great sense of humor.” 
Another moment showed Graham joking with veteran political reporters Mark Halperin and John Heilemann at a political fundraiser. 
“Have you had anything to drink yet?” Heilemann asked Graham, who responded, “No.”
“Has anybody in this room had anything to drink yet?” Heilemann followed up.
“I hope so,” Graham replied. “I do better with people who drink. The more you drink, the more this will make sense to you. You can see where I’m taking the country.” 
Over the weekend, Graham unexpectedly died at his Capitol Hill home in what the medical examiner’s office believes to be an <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/lindsey-graham-medical-examiner-releases-preliminary-cause-of-death">aortic dissection</a>. The life-threatening condition is a tear that develops in the inner layer of the aorta, the body’s largest artery that carries blood from the heart to the rest of the body. The Republican is said to have notified a staffer that he was suffering chest pain before falling unconscious.  
Despite the medical report, dozens of FBI agents showed up to Graham’s home in Washington, D.C. to investigate the scene out of an abundance of caution. In the Oval Office, President Trump on Tuesday <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-splits-with-fbi-questions-decision-to-probe-lindsey-grahams-death?topStoryPosition=undefined&amp;author=Virginia+Kruta&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=0&amp;row=1&amp;rowHeadline=Top+Stories&amp;rowType=Top+Stories&amp;title=Trump+Splits+With+FBI%2C+Questions+Decision+To+Probe+Lindsey+Graham%E2%80%99s+Death">swatted down conspiracy theories</a> floating online. 
“Supposedly — and I’ve watched all the medical reports, I’ve had the doctors from the White House come in and explain what happened,” Trump said. “This is something that is almost undetectable. If it happens, there’s not much you can do about it. Sounds unfortunate. If you look at — his father died of the same thing at about the same age.”
“I don’t see a lot of evil there. I know there’s all sorts of conspiracy theories going along, but I don’t think the FBI — I think the FBI is wasting their time if they’re doing that,” the president added.
Back on Capitol Hill, Graham’s sister, Darline Graham Nordone, was sworn in to fill her brother’s seat for the remainder of his term, which expires next January. At the GOP Senate lunch, Republicans reflected on an inspiring message from the ‘Remembering Lindsey Graham’  tribute video. 
“I learned that serving a cause greater than yourself hurts. Anybody in the military can tell you the risk you take. Principle and compromise are not mutually exclusive, and the foundation of a great person, as well as a great nation. If you want to help me, join the march,” Graham said.
